Yup. Interviews galore. No Yoshino though, just a long interview from Kawamori and 12 pages of cast interviews (with photos).

Also with serials and Kanno Youko's comments/explanations on the songs of the netabare album.

Come to think of it, was there something similar from Kanno-san wrt the songs in the first movie?

Is there anything of interest in the interviews, about how they arrived at the movie ending, if they got any feedback from the fans? Anything about future plans for Frontier or is this the last we'll see of these characters?

In response to one of your questions though, another interview I skimmed suggests that it is unlikely that there'll be a continuation of Frontier in either anime or novel form.

That's rather discouraging.

Can you quote the relevant section or summarise? I was hanging some hopes on an OVA for the TV series.

That was the summary of the relevant question and answer. If I somehow manage to find time, I'll work on actual translations one day...just don't expect them anytime soon.

Just curious, but is the relevant Q&A is from this scan, Karice? :3 Either that or that recorded interview for Kawamori posted a bit back then (which I failed to listen patiently *cough*).

But indeed, he seems to feel that it has been represented in many mediums, and seems to prefer put a close of the stage. As well as with our main Frontier trio.

Towards the end, when Kawamori-sensei talks about why they used 完結編 (as opposed to 後編). He basically said that the second movie is intended as the finale to Frontier. (I know what you mean...he mumbles way too much!)

Aah, I didn't catch the part 完結編 when I listened to it, but I did remember him saying something akin to the 2nd movie being the finale of the Frontier series... After the 5th time listening to it, admittedly. /cough/ I was torn between thinking his mumbling is cute or wanting to crash him to a chair for making my headache worse the day I first listened to it though

Ah, found the page, though it seems I'm a bit mistaken about it being a leak, after seeing it again, it's not

Still, it is a Yoko Kanno interview and song commentaries-for the song appearing in the movie, which is different with every song in Netabare Album commentaries that the magazine is featuring

Might be from Netabare booklet, perhaps?

Edit: I forgot to say this, but I love Kanno's comment for Niji Iro Kuma Kuma. It's so cute~~ XD Kanno-sensei really love Aya Endou's sexy Sheryl voice lmfao, and the staffs objecting to her idea for the title makes me laugh~
