I've seen a couple of references to 'Kyon's Blog' in the Music Videos thread. So I guess my question is: Does Kyon have a blog? (And I'm talking official-dude-pretending-to-be-Kyon, not some-fan-pretending-to-be-Kyon. Like the Hiro Nakamura blog or whatever.)

Can anyone give me some kind of overview for each episode? I've tried watching some online, but they're all jumbled up and some are missing.

I have some question , maybe than the reader of the novel might explain me stuff;
.What kind of being are the Integrated data entity?
.If Yuki can alter reality by information manipulating should thad mean than the world
in the novel is only information or someting like thad?
.What kind of phylosophy or what phylosopher Kyon made some reference while narating.

1. The integrated Data Entity is a sentient being without a physical body, the simplest explanation I can provide. To have sentience is to have consciousness and knows of its own existance.

Can you assume a being that exists yet does not have a body? A being that is made of of 'thought', similar yet not exactly the same form of 'thought' that we humans have.

2. We humans see the world, the universe physically, we interact through physical means, the universe exists to us because it is made up of matter. To the Data Entities, who have no physical form yet exist, do not view the world physically, at least not just matter alone. They view the entire universe and everything within it as something fundamentally similar, they can only relate to us their view of the universe as 'data'.

Everything in the universe is data, once you know of something, it becomes information in your mind, it becomes data. To the Data Entities, everything in the universe is data, matter, time, distance, energy, everything.

The Data Entities themselves are also 'data'. We humans are physical beings, so we interact and manipulate everything physically, Data Entities are data, they can interact and manipulate with data, meaning the entire universe, everything, yep, everything.

3. Kyon doesn't have a single philosophy, he has alot of philosophical references, maybe you want to be specific on which line/phrase he said.

It's worth downloading, and the order it was aired in was jumbled up anyway, but here's a very basic summary:

1. crazy amateur movie (combat waitress)
2. introduction. Kyon never believed in Santa Claus, meets Haruhi
3. summary to establish context, Haruhi wants a mysterious transfer student
4. Mikuru's a nurse??? baseball episode
5. resolves episode 3's cliffhanger. Yuki finally starts talking and out comes this winding freakish spiel
6. everyone's cruisin'. it's a lone island!
7. Haruhi sleeps during tests. Kyon sees a sign
8. resolves episode 6's cliffhanger. whodunnit?
9. a calm winter day
10. Haruhi's down. Kyon gets a secret note.
11. school festival aftermath. launch the gun***!
12. school festival. listen to Haruhi's song!
13. Kyon and Haruhi walk home from school. Snow White and closed spaces

I read on the novel and manga tread than Kyon made sone reference of mythology and phisolophy while narating in the novel. Myself I don't have yet enough japanese skill ( both reading and speaking) to try the novel.

The "true" beginning. Kyon shows an unusual amount of interest in the eccentric Haruhi. His classmates start to notice this. Asakura asks Kyon to get Haruhi to open up. Haruhi only ever seems to open up to Kyon. Haruhi bullies Kyon into forming the SoS Brigade with her.

Note of interest: Haruhi asks Kyon if they've ever met before.

Wherein Haruhi blackmails the Computer Society and pimps Mikuru's sexuality in order to garner publicity. The latter has predictable results. The normally tight-lipped Yuki asks Kyon to meet him. Big reveal by Yuki at her apartment.

The other three SOS Brigade members reveal their true identities. Haruhi declares their first “magic patrol” and gets incredibly jealous of the other two girls, as Kyon is paired with both by lottery. Haruhi actually has the Brigade draw sticks to score a date with Kyon. She gets visibly upset when she doesn’t get paired up at either of the two drawings.

Kyon arrives at school the next day to find Haruhi upset. Asakura implies that Haruhi is lovesick, which she is. She feels stupid because of her lottery attempt the day before. Kyon doesn’t realize this. Asakura secretly meets with Kyon in the evening and shows why she has such an interest in Kyon and Haruhi before attempting to assassinate him. This is especially puzzling since he doesn't think he has an important connection to Haruhi. Yuki saves Kyon’s bacon. Future Mikuru foreshadows the future the next day. She gives a not-so-subtle clue about "Snow White" and Haruhi. Haruhi is back to her usual self and drags Kyon to investigate Asakura’s unusual and sudden disappearance.

Haruhi and Kyon’s investigation of Asakura’s apartment fails to turn up anything of interest. Turns out, this is also Yuki’s apartment. Haruhi reveals her motivation for seeking out the exotic and mysterious. Koizumi furnishes evidence of his identity at the end of the episode and explains Haruhi’s power and mentality. He again stresses Haruhi and Kyon's connection. He asks that Kyon look after Haruhi.

Grand finale. Kyon has an epiphany and realizes that both Haruhi and ponytails turn him on. Of course, he pretty much pushes this epiphany back into his subconscious when he wakes up. Freud indeed.

Baseball episode. Haruhi actually wonders how a ponytail would look on Mikuru and squints at her hair as she bundles it up behind her head. Kyon takes notice of this. Koizumi implies that Kyon and Haruhi have got the hots for each other. Haruhi agrees to forfeit the match, visibly warming up to Kyon, thus completing the Tsundere cycle.

The SOS Brigade gets a call to investigate the disappearance of Kimidori’s “boyfriend.” It is strongly implied that Nagato was secretly manipulating events in order to keep Haruhi entertained.

Koizumi arranges for an SOS Brigade vacation. In the game of “Who is the King,” Haruhi commands Nagato to turn around and say “I love you” before commanding Kyon to do the same and then telling him to "forget it".

Part two of the island murder mystery episode.

The SOS Brigade make their “Mikuru’s Adventure” movie. With Haruhi’s powers running amok, not everything goes quite as planned. . .

After a late-night grind editing their movie, Kyon decides to check out the school festival. Haruhi demonstrates her omni-genius by wowing the school by filling in for a band’s lead singer and playing electric guitar. Kyon and Haruhi have a quiet moment the next day, where Haruhi is moping. Haruhi throws grass at Kyon’s face, except the wind blows it back into her face. This is a rare instance of Haruhi being off-balance, with karma not quite swinging her way. This awkwardness is symbolic, especially in Kyon’s presence. Of course, her vulnerability doesn’t last for long and she’s soon back to her upbeat self. . .

The Day of Sagittarius episode. Nagato picks up a new hobby, in a rare instance of her showing interest in anything beyond books. The first hint of Nagato’s blooming from “emotionless girl” to something slightly more emotional.

It is winter and the year drags to a close. You can see paraphernalia from previous adventures littering the room. Truly a look back – an epilogue if you would. Kyon wakes up with two cardigans draping him. He immediately wonders where the second cardigan comes from, glancing over to where Nagato was reading earlier. Kyon and Haruhi walk home in the rain in the classic “couples under the umbrella” scene.

On your first view, I recommend you to watch them in this order, by their airing order and not the 'correct/true' episode order. Hopefully, you will see light at the end of the tunnel when you watch the episodes in this seemingly 'random' order.

Did the SOS-Brigade symbol ever appear in any of the novels? Or was it a KyoAni design that they decided to chuck in the anime. Where exactly was the design first seen?

Anyone wanna speculate as to who pushed/kicked/forced Kyon down the stairs in the light novels ?

Perhaps Haruhi was serious when she said if Kyon performed badly as a reindeer she'd kick him into another dimension ?

KyoAni made it up, based on the description in the light novels. You can bet it'll be appearing in future novels at some point, though, as the distinctions between canon in each begin to blur.
