Poor Llama, if he only knew how many fans he really had.

Now where I can I buy the DVD of the Penguiners adventure?

The in-show segment with the paper figures was surprisingly funny.

Yes, I think in many shows something like this could easily have been seen as 'running out of ideas' or just filler, but here it worked really well.
I do wonder if the 'penguin being blown away' bits were originally out-takes, though!

I shall miss this show when it's gone. I do hope it comes back at some point.

I just hope the Handa x Sasako plot goes somewhere in the last episode.

You know what would be cool for the last episode? An ED sung by everyone.

Gonna miss the series.

Grizzlies Mom was extremely cute. Also, I ship Llama and Sasako. They have a lot more in common then Handa x Sasako anyway

Somehow Thursdays will never quite be the same...

Spoiler for 50:

This show has been a constant delight for 50 episodes, and should it ever return it'd be most welcome.

"See you again!" is definitely the feeling I want to walk away from this series with - "Sayonara" is simply too painful to think about. It really does feel like a group of friends I've been meeting every Thursday is going away, and the older we get the more we realize just how great a treasure friendships are. We've been treated to something even better than caffe mochas and bamboo grass every Thursday, and if "see you again" is the message these friends are parting with, I can think of no better reply than to quote directly from Shirokuma-san's (and Sakurai Takahiro's) sublime final ED for the series - "Itsumo arigatou."

Spoiler for Finale:

It's been a while since I've felt this sad to remove a series from my Crunchyroll queue.

That's a yew.

That's a mew.

That's one of the few!

Sigh. It's just not the same.

Nice try with the puns, though.

I was curious about SC last year because of the voice cast and, well, it's not the strangest gimmick premise that's carried a show. But it was surprisingly a lot better than expectations, and I'm going to miss these guys.

We got handwriting credits for the finale episode
The second half was perfect to conclude this series.
Damn it's hard when this kind of 4-cour series is over... it was really a pleasant and refreshing series with some neat episodes and surprises. I wonder how they managed to produce 50 episodes with only 4 volumes : many episodes with original scenario ? If that's the case they may come back one day

Got in volume 9 of Animate's LE BD for Shirokuma Cafe today and had a listen to the bonus drama CD, which has a hilarious story for Penguin attempting to make "Inaniwa Udon" for his cafe.
