Echidna are Lamia...and Lamia are the most jealous monster girls ever. Lamias in general are obsessed with their husbands and cheating results in dire consequences (from cursing him to outright killing him). It stands to reason that even Echidna would do their best to keep other females away from their husbands.

One think I noticed in that lore, Vampires were classed as Succubus'es?
Thats something I definitely cant agree with. Sure they may possess similaries in suduction in and charm/hypnotizing. But they either belong to Demon, or Undead or on rare occasion.... Alien O_o. Back into the specific manga. I'd find the zombie girl more appealing if she were a vampire or something similar. Zombies lack a regeneration ability, and thats what makes them ikky as characters and at worse case, they decay. In rare occaion, something I refer as Hybrid zombie is ok, they general have a regeneration ability which covers that weakness (Say like in Kore wa Zombie Desu ka). Thats really the only reason I just cant find myself to like that zombie character or say get attatched to them <.<. I think the Oni, Cyclops and the Dropgangler (whos race are generally suppose to be evil) are fine monster girls. I am still awaiting for the Tsundere Dragon or Yandere Spider O_o Last edited by Velsy; 2013-02-10 at 22:19. |

Technically it should have been Succubi under the vampire clan right? But when you think about it, they both have a required feeding function of taking something from a human without consuming flesh: Vampires suck blood, Succubi usually suck souls.
So they have this certain umbrella over them. When you again consider heirarchy and origins, Succubi were derived from much older literature and considered demons already right from the start. The legend of vampires started with Vladmir that impaler guy. Legends state, IIRC, that a human made a pact with the devil to gain superhuman abilities that they have now. It stands to reason that this puts vampires in a slightly lower tier since succubi are demons while vampires are humans turned demons. So in terms of genealogy it may actually make the slightest bit of sense to put vampires under succubi since they both have similar feeding patterns, exhibit similar powers but with vampires being on tier lower in overall heirarchy. |

I'm honestly shocked; I never thought something like this could happen so quickly with something seemingly "niche". Good times. |
