Stronger and faster maybe, but smarter? Nothing was ever said about that, and if Salvatore is anything to by....absolutely not true. Although a campione might get smarter with age, that's not a result of their powers but rather simple experience. A couple centuries will do that to you.

I should rephrase the word then.
They have the ability to learn things quickly and retain+comprehend more information than the average human. Things like Foreign languages can be learned and used fluently in days if the campione wants to.

I think the aging's just slowed down. Voban looks old.

That's just specifically language. It's a magical technique even normal magicians can learn.

Luo Hao still looks young and she's just as old as Bobby. Aisha is almost ten times as old and still called a beauty. In the end it's pretty moot to talk about Campione's aging since normal magicians can age slower/live a bit longer, witches can at least keep a young appearance and we've never gotten anything specific about the mechanics behind any of it.

I can't help but wonder WTF was Diomedea thinking. They've changed the show too much to be considered normal. WTF was Lilliana in Japan before Voban invaded the isles? WTF was with Godou stealing and killing Verethragna with the warriour? WTF was with the UBW? WTF did Diomedea add so many things that shouldn't be there? As much as I enjoyed the anime, it sucked awfully as an adaptation. I just cannot think of any reason why Diomedea should edit the show too much, and it's downright unforgivable if they did an original, gecko ending--there's just too many volumes out there to do so. The LN's plot is just too good to be replaced by whatever sh@tty 'original ending' they managed to animate.

The anime is just fine, they didn't have enough time to do everything so they cut things out, it STILL does work though we get less explanation of the Grandfather and more close ups of Erica naked..haha

Man, Athena's grownup form was hawt. She's definitely the hottest girl in this series. But I wished if her voice was more deep so she would sound like an adult.
