I mean, I think each one has more than a serious back story. I think the girls are supposed to fill out the niche most harems have.
girl - archetype - Orimura effect Houki - cold aloof childhood friend, who is obsessed about kendo - violent mass of confused estrogen. Cecilia - rich blonde ditz who can't cook - She actually fills the role quite well, growing more into the role, though it's because she seems to be growing "further" from Ichika at this point. Rin - violent little tsundere pettanko - The hidden yandere side is a plus, but too much violent tsun and the dere almost never shows through. Charlotte - the angelic but terrifying "wife" type - she is getting successively more prone to violence without reason. Laura - innocent until blood is shed/possible McGuffin/mysterious waif - Makes it her life's mission to make Ichika her wife... wait what? That about sums up my observations. |

Even the Sarashikis are not exempt.
Tatenashi - awesome onee-san - way too over the top and normally this character type dances around the current harem. Tate outright curb-stomps them. Kanzashi - the geeky victim of circumstances beyond her control(the variant which has a bone to pick with the protagonist) - half a chapter into her intro and she has a crush on him... |

And then it got worse.....
That aside, tech wank time. How much you guys think I.S. weight without PIC/mass reduction/anti-gravity bullshit? I was thinking around somewhere between 250 kg and 750 kg.

can't cook up an exact value, Zero, sorry :<
Also Demi, there are differences. Those who are training for war may know the standard engagement procedures. However, they have no idea what exactly goes on in the battlefield. Needless to say, they are prone to being "by-the-book" while in combat. As for those who have fought in a war, they are already accustomed to the dynamics in the battlefield. Which means they have the knowledge of standard combat AND the capability to quickly adapt to changing situations (e.g outnumbered, outgunned). Also, going out in a bit, here's a scene :> Spoiler for Scene!:

Strained joints and overworked muscles is a definite. Not sure about bruising though.
This is assuming the power armor in question is still limited to human articulation. (e.g, no 360 hip spin)

Errr.... isn't the new suit going to be heavier? I mean it is overloaded with weaponry....
Moar edit:Wouldn't fighting in the power armor more difficult to use? hell I had problem with switching to the right weapon in Mass effect 3.... too many weapons until I cut out the Submachine gun Edit: Yea... The tech part is done so I am starting to work on the characters......

Reaction speed always been the problem.
While static g-forces from acceleration can be solved using soft cushioning, dynamic g-forces such as fast moving limb will still affect the internal joint.
