I don't know why you think that fighting for ideals and belief is requirment for soldier. Actualy people who fight for such reasons are generaly unsuited for such job. As Rygart was presented in the end of first etape of war, battle was pretty much only thing that could drive him forward and when it ended he lost his direction and purpose (that's why that incident happaned).

Even if he returned on farm with Sygin and his little brother on his side there are no guarantee he would be able return to his former peaceful former live.

I can't seem to find the anime thread for this manga. I'm wondering if the new tv anime is a continuation or a remake of the last one? Anyone has an idea?

Its in the Movies, OVAs/OADs, and Specials section.

Also, from what I can see from the PV, its seems like a remake more so then a continuation.

That's pitty, there is no reason to do remake (aside of letting me see my favourite dual shuriken Overkill). I don't have clue why not to do continuation as there is plenty of material for movie or two...

The information I read is that the TV series uses the OVA footage as its basis and will be adding new footage to it.

because the OAV left out materials and this will be a tv series.

It didn't left out more material than any other adaptation actualy I would even dare say less. And that come from person who read manga three times (this, arpeggio and FMP sigma are my favourite sci-fi).

Chapter 70 has more about the whole Princess debate thing. So, we have one princess going to Hodr, requesting the assistance of Krishna to overthrow her younger twin (the one in Athens with Zess's) rule because of the suffering the Assam people are under Athens. Although, I can't guarantee that she is indeed sincere. Which brings us to....WHO was the one that freed Rygart, was it the older sis or the younger sis?

It was the younger one. From what I got, the one that went to Hodr for assistance stayed in Khrina. The younger one helped Rygart because he assisted in stopping an assassination attempt on her a few chapters back. She protested when he was taken in as well despite him saving her so she was the one that helped him escape.

No that would be catastrophe, Break blade is best mecha manga after (or maybe even before FMP sigma). Even more for me who has perpetual fix for mecha and can't be satisfied by sunrise because they have only one show and try pretend it is actualy twenty...

So Princess Prederica, the one at Krishna, reveals to Hodr that the girl who looks like her in Assam that Rygart reported is her younger twin sister Mana. No one at Assam knows about Mana because their father feared a civil war for the throne so he hid Mana's existence and trained her to be her sister's body double. Mana helped the Athenians take over the country after she learns Prederica would be the next Queen of Assam and not her which Mana pretended to be Prederica to legitimize Athen's rule. Strangely, Prederica calls Mana a cruel, heartless Athens supporter who doesn't care for the people despite how we saw Mana being the opposite of that. __________________

She doesn't want to live a life as body-double so she sides with the independent faction in Assam and pretend to be her sister so she has the right to call in the support from other countries.
