Episode 9 is already out and I haven't even watched episode 8?!

I'm ashamed to call myself a Kampfer fan.

Episode 9 is starting to look more interesting and wonder if Natsuru is love struck or being control by Inner Sakura

I'm a little confused

Sakura loves Natsura-san (the girl side) so it would make sense she'd hire some people to take out Natsura the guy as he's a threat.

However, the girls ended up attacking Natsura-san anyways.

Then with Shizuru pretty much publicly declaring the two are lovers I mean that should give Sakura a calm of peace that he's interested in other people and not her lover.

With the girls attacking him and her leading him away seems to imply to me that she's aware of his double personality.

That's how I see it, could be wrong but the evidence for her points that she's safe with Natsura in her own eyes.

BTW 1000 points to Shizuru. Love that girl and Sakura's face was priceless during the scene.

I won't go through the ep for all the details, just the big headlines.

o The whole team plus Sakura is having fun at the pool (which was originally intended to be a solo date for Akane)

o Natsuru sees Sakura winking (uncharacteristically evilly) at a group of 3 girls which turn out to be White Kämpfer later

o In female form, Natsuru has Sakura badmouth his male form to kingdom come. Heartbreak ensues.

o Female Natsuru gets ambushed by the 3 White Kämpfer, but rescued by Akane and Shizuku. The Whites escape.

o The whole bunch with male Natsuru celebrate the end of the day together. Shizuku makes some big moves in front of the others and ups the count to 3:0. Sakura is delighted (she wants Natsuru to get together with Shizuku to "free up" female Natsuru), the other girls are next to fainting

o Sakura asks the still-mostly-out-of-it Natsuru to accompany him outside. There, her facial expression changes to evil-menacing, and she orders a dazed, glassy-eyed Natsuru to follow him to the fireworks... which he does.

o Preview title translates to "Trap" (and no, not THAT kind of trap) and has a multitude of extremely interesting screenies. See for yourself.

if the rumors i've heard that sakura is involved with the moderators somehow maybe she asked for a favor to explicitly turn natsuru into a kampfer so he would be female ( considering she likes female natsuru ALOT more than the male version)

of course just wondering up to these episodes i can't read japanese so i can't tell from the novels, also so far natsuru seems to be the only "male" kampfer

There's something you seem to have missed from ep9.

When the three Whites were cornering Natsuru, they called him "Natsuru-san... iya, Natsuru-kun". They knew that female Natsuru = male Natsuru. Draw your own conclusions.

true, ture... but I'm still gonna chalk it up to possibly bad writing, because clearly kaede has teh hots for some natsuru san, which seems to contradictory to the current information.

I'm thinking mebbe she's probably some wierd uber kampfer because the proto plush doll.

And actually if all of it is true and she's known all along, I think it will make for quite an interesting change in her character because at this current state I just can't stand her, so it's all win win to me because I only really care about shizuku and mikoto.

Either Sakura has a hidden personality that she is not aware of or she's been putting up an act all this time. Personally I would go with the later. She appears to have the power to go hypnotoad on Natsuru and I suspect she probably is the moderator the dolls have been talking about.

Oh wow, Shizuku just blew everyone out of the water with those last 5 minutes - and it was all gone with just one whisper from Sakura... Damnit guy!!

Shizuku vs Sakura - that alone would make the entire series worth it.
