Since i didn't find A&Q Thread, i will post my question here.

I have recently started reading FMA (one of the best manga so far) and i'm up to chapter 30. How many chapters have been translated so far? I heard that the anime has come to an end, but if that so, has the manga also have come to an end? Is the manga still running in Japan?

The anime itself has come to an end already, however, it's story will see a conclusion in a movie that will be released next Summer.

On the contrary, the manga has no visible signs of comming to an end ^^ Yebyosh has kindly translated up to chapter 40, you can find his scanlations over www.anime-source.com

Does anyone know which is the latest volume (of the chinese version)? And if it's eight, please let me know when the next vol. will be published. Thx.

I don't know when the next volume might come out, but i heard that on Now 10th, chapter 41 is coiming out, if i remember correctly.

Yes chapter 41 has been released. Someone from the fma lj community scanned the cover & last page. Looks like chapter 42 should be interesting.

anuy Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2004	Don't know how much this has been discussed, but Spoiler: concerning Roy's apparent killing of Maria, there is substantial evidence to suggest that the whole thing is staged. Consider him asking Lust (was it her?) about Hughes while they fight. Also, Barry the Chopper and Roy had more than sufficient time to chat, that is not to say that Roy might have adviced Barry to help Maria escape but who knows. (I don't really see any apparent reason for Barry running off like that once he sees the newspaper). Also since Roy already knows of Hughes' warning of danger/dissent within the military, I highly doubt that he would take their word so easily for Maria's blame. (Also there's the bit after that where Roy goes to the (I think) east headquarters and appears to be talking on the phone to random girlfriends for a while until we find out that he is actually talking to Hawkeye, doing that as a way of keeping his actions secret from certain members of the military. Might not this be like that too?) Or maybe this is just wishful thinkig on my part, bearing the time until the next volume, is all Last edited by anuy; 2004-10-26 at 09:10.

He won't be able to go to work tomorrow! Daddy!" I started to cry I still cry when I read that chapter. 2. Envy is soooooooo hot!!! I him!!! He looks so kick ass!!! 3. Greed was pretty cool and I'm sorry to see him die. He made a great bad guy 4. NOOOOOOOOO!!!! THEY KILLED THE DOGGY CHIMERA DUDE!!! I HATE THE PRESIDENT ALCHEMIST DUDE!!!
