It's not bad... not great either. Then again, not much compares to this monolith of a computer I'm using (yay physics budget). But from the looks of the specs, and in relation to similar machines out there and their prices... and sizes, I'd say you're paying around 200-300$ dollars American extra for the novelty. Is it worth it?

I recently came by a blog that showed some Code Geass oppai mousepads that feature Kallen, C.C., or Shirley. They're interesting but I haven't been able to find where you can purchase them. Does anyone have an idea of what online vendors carry these things? I tried searching for them in English to no avail and then in Japanese with this phrase コードギアスおっぱいのマウスパッド and still nothing.

I remember seeing one of those oppai mousepads in a store when I was in Canada. don't know if it was the Code Geass ones, I just remember saying "Ridiculous"
after that, the Claymore and D. Gray-man wallscrolls took over my attention.

You should search with "コードギアス 立体 マウスパッド" to get results in Japanese, or even without 立体 and you'll still get something. The mousepad were released a long time ago, so they're not in stock anymore. You'd have to get one secondhand or off an auction or Code Geass community site. I doubt that most online imports store would still have it stock.

They're also very expensive $40 each, maybe more if it's hard to find

Does anyone know when volumes 3&4 will come out? Hopefully in a box set like 1&2?

Of the R1 release?

Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 will have the following options:
- Each volume as a single
- Both volumes together as "Part 2"
- Both volumes together with LE pack-ins as "Part 2 LE"
--- Includes a manga volume, a sound drama and I can't remember if there were any other packins.

It was slated for an Oct release initially, however given the issues with Vol. 2, it's been pushed back until Nov (possibly later).

Also worth noting, there won't be a hard, chipboard box with Part 2 LE (as it's not needed). Instead the Part 2 LE will be packaged with a cheap filmy cardboard cover (like the Haruhi and Lucky Star Vol. 2+ LEs) The packaging "box" is meant to be thrown away, it's only purpose is to hold all of the items together

There was a problem with the pressing --- Bandai put in some security sectors to try and prevent dvd copying, however for most players they either skip or crash on these sectors.

Bandai never released an official statement on the issue, but the problem has been addressed. They have a link on their website if your player can't handle the disc where you can trade it in for a new one. Several people have already gotten their replacement discs and have confirmed that the issue is now gone.

I just sent my vol. 2 disc off yesterday -- it played perfectly on a PS3, but when I tried to watch it on my Oppo it had a few studders on 2 Episodes.

So its not longer Oct.7 anymore I see but I hope everything will be resolved since I'm waiting to get R1 LE.

Also Vol 2 LE box is like this or just samples?

That's the packaging for Part 2 LE of the R1 release.
I guess there could be a slim chance of them hitting Oct. 7th but since no retailer currently has them listed (and Bandai has already released their Oct. solicitations and it wasn't on the list) most speculate it got bumped to Nov.

Can contact Bandai and do the steps for the replacements; TRSI, RACS and several other major anime etailers haven't yet gotten their new shipments yet.

"Robert was also told that good batches of all the Aug 5th titles (like Code Geass) are starting to arrive into Bandai's warehouse and are being dived up to retailers and customers who need replacements as they become available." -- was posted in an update on RACS on Sept. 4th; so there's a good possibility most of the copies out there right now, still suffer from the problem but the user may have a player which handles it just fine.

Its good news to hear the replacements work, so I'll send mine in now.
Sadly, I have more problems playing vol 1 than I do 2. Vol 1 wont play on anything but the dvd player I have @ home (but when it plays, its pretty flawless, except I cant watch ep 5 or the extras). Vol 2 just skips. Hopefully, they will take care of both disks for me.

i dont mind waiting for the next volume release (will be getting the LTD ED again) since I didnt hear about the release date till now. I just want a working disk.
