Well, it gives me time to get the money together for a PSP.

I had big misgivings about going portable from the PS3 but now looks like my fears were unfounded. Plus I dig the civil war setting.

Switching consoles automatically means that the focus would switch from eye candy to something else. Will KIV.

Sega's certainly confident about the charm of their characters this time round.

And most interestingly is a "Morale" point on the upper left corner. What could it mean for our characters here ?

Morale - I speculate that it may affect the attributes of characters under attack.

I'll be damned if them tanks aren't the spitting image of Panzer III's. Having grid references on the map looks to be a good idea.

Does the PSP have region protection by any chance?

I've heard they are multi-region on games but movies are region locked?

Morale might affect a lot more than we could even begin to speculate.

Low morale could mean lower action points, evasion, defence, attack power, etc.

It could be that if morale gets too low soldiers will refuse to fight or you might automatically lose the fight ala Close Combat? It could be linked to like a party bonus from RPGs where if you fill up the gauge you get special abilities or what not.

I'm very interested in this as it will undoubtedly bring another challenge to the game.

I'm hoping the second game adds a bit more to the ranking system for each stage, instead of it just depending on how many turns it takes you to complete a mission.

Games for the PSP are all region-free. I cannot speak for movies.

Sounds like an opportunity to import VC2 when the time comes then.

“So far it seems like most of the fans are really just happy to see the series continue – and, if VCII sells well, it means a much greater chance that the series can pick up again back on a larger console, like the PS3.”

I have made up my mind to buy VC2 in order to realize that.

With how fervently some of us follow this I doubt many here wouldn't get it, anyway. Like I'm buying a PSP just for this.

Seriously I would wait a bit until psp 2 has been announced. But I have also to admit that I have the PSP and the PS 3 already

The PSP Go has been announced for quite a while, man... granted, it's not all that dramatic a change, but...

The PSP Go is the PSP 2? I don't follow anything except PS3, really.

A pair of siblings who are at helm of the Gallian Revolutionaries. They are namely Bartoren(?) (VA:- Midorikawa) and Audorey (?) (VA:- Kawasumi) of Gassenar(?) Household.

And you miss out the most important info at hand. The Game will be out on 21st of Jan. Those who pre order the game will recieve special PV, a soundtrack and a code to unlock a special guest character.

They're kinda dressed like Imperials, interesting.
January 21? A bit past the original Q4 2009 date but delays USUALLY lead to fixed bugs and stuff. That means it's about a 6-month turn around for the translation, that's good.
