I still think a love hotel would have been better than a military base. At least the former would probably have a no questions asked policy. Descrition to keep the customers happy.

Why did Sheryl have to be so difficult? No hospital, no hotel. That seriously reduced his options. I guess he could have tried Ranka's place. Not Nanase's, that would have been dangerous.

Sheryl saw the news about Ranka and wanted to see it for herself. So she went to Macross Quarters. She did say she wasn't there for Alto, although I wouldn't rule that out as a bonus.

I doubt she went there because she saw Ranka on the news, as Ranka is on the news more often than not these days. Moreover, she went to the spot where Alto always go to and then denied that she wasn't there for (or to remember the times she had with) him.

Alto of course, couldn't get the message.

Both kids need to be more honest to themselves. Ugh

Sheryl didn't know there was going to be an operation to test out Ranka's voice. But we all know what Minmay does with her singing and when the media hails Ranka as the modern day Minmay and their new hope, she's smart enough suspect what they'll be using her for.
