Yeah it was a brilliant laugh out loud scene, though the main lol for me was from the opening scene, and just how Liz said "we're already three hours late". That hit me hard, i couldn't stop laughing.

That aura is the Shinigami's soul. Yes, his soul is bigger than the city. That was why Maka couldn't see it, she was inside it.

I noticed the director of Soul Eater loves those description bars (dont know how to put it in a better way). You see that constantly in Ouran.

He also love arrows, when Liz was looking at Black Star yelling, there was the arrow. My...I still just love how action and comedy are placed together so perfectly. Great laughs with action and no cliff hanger (Code Geass anyone?), just makes me love the show.

I've read the manga chapter for this episode, didn't feel as funny. Not as much Soul x Maka </3

Yeah that's for sure. Like with the battle against Stein, sometimes knowing things can paralyze you. Other times they can get you into a situation where you get owned

Same director as Ouran I'm guessing here? Ya I noticed those description bars too, loved that ha ha. I noticed in Ouran they had a bunch of arrows too (que first episode when Haruhi knocks over the vase). It's just those little touches that makes this show so great. You're talking about these correct?

Let's just get this straight, they may act like Kamina, no they're no way on the same level as him.

& i don't know if we can it a tribute to Gurren Lagann, i mean that scene is probably from the Soul Eater manga which was out before Gurren Lagann. Now if it's not from the manga, then yes i'll agree with you.

It was also nice hearing "Bam bam bam bam, have a nice dream" again as well as other good music.

Patty looked a little scary in the brief flashback. Kinda hard to imagine her like that.

Wow i gave it an 10/10
I just loved this episode..especially when stien was trying to experiment on the bird which is almost exticted..the bird was hilarious to..and yes the romace scene between soul and black star was quite hilairous to..and how tsubaki and maka where calling them idoits..haha and kid got knocked out

P.S. I think Tsubaki and Maka would make a good team IMO

Now usually the drill is supposed to dig through the head which is why black star caught it with his head haha.
