So it's not just the Sengoku period, but a world where everyone is female? Interesting. Except for Shiro, I guess. Hideyoshi needs someone to be her guide. Yui did a much better job fitting into the past, but Hideyoshi's gifted to be the "stumbling into greatness" type. And her skill with a polearm is halfway decent.

Though if she can notice Akerin and Nobunaga in the history books, I wonder what's stopping her from looking up herself. She'll have a lot of foreknowledge. But foreanything isn't her strength.

If it's one thing that Hideyoshi is good at it's putting a smile on people's faces. She may be an idiot when it comes to normal things but she knows how to make people feel good and laugh. Surprised the cellphone has died yet.

So the dog is Shrio and is like her guide. I guess it's good somebody knows about her situation. Not surprising that he only talks to her. The fight with Mitsuhide was funny. Though i didn't think she'd be good with fighting with a staff. The wonders of tv Nobunaga continues to be impressed with her.

So i wonder if the eye patch girl is actually her sensei. If they meet Hideyoshi certainly will think so. Couldn't tell if the name registered with her but she did seem intrigued.

I like series so far, loled at the whole children birth since that's what I wanted to know as well.

So Shiro is the only guy and he is a dog? Wonder how he got here and into that body.

Good that Hideyoshi didn't win but she still preformed better than I expected.
I wonder if the new character is also the one who accidently brought Hideyoshi into this world.

I call Hideyoshi as Anti-Sue. She's a loser otaku, but when it comes to decisions that matters, she's always in the right. Oh, and everyone adores her (except Mitsuhide). Even da boss of (O)da house. The viewers will viciously rip her apart if she were a guy.

Of course, tropes (even Mary Sue tropes) aren't bad.

Lol that dog is funny. Makes me wonder how come he can talk and only does in front of Hideyoshi ... And also how does he know about the things Hideyoshi says .. Like the sayings as he kept correcting her etc.

Looks like this series will be quite enjoyable since it's not ruined with fanservice either .. Which is actually rather surprising considering the anime is based on a pachinko. Oh and ars89 : To me it seemed like that girl would be the one that was in the first episode in Hideyoshi's '' real world '' doing that chant/magic circle whatever it was. Well, I only base this on the little looks we got of her so I may be wrong.

Some food for thought. If the characters hadn't been recasted, we would've ended up with Ayano Niina as Hideyoshi (okay, she doesn't have that many roles, but she was Lisette in 11eyes), Rie Kugimiya as Mitsuhide, Mai Nakahara as Masamune and Yukari Tamura as Nobunaga.

It would've been a different soundscape, for sure.

Ara... Yada... It was actually really entertaining.
Who would have thought...
Mainly the protagonist and Mitsuhide's reaction to her actions carried along the tension of the episode well. Wasn't expecting anything from the first episode, but the second was a good improvement. Maybe it will actually be a good anime?

So far, probably one of the more better protagonist's this season. Kind of realistic... Kind of.

ep2: not bad, not bad. looks like this is shaping into a very good anime.
I wonder when her cell-phone will run out of battery, though.
also, no men in the whole-world? lol, as shocking at it might sound, on the plus side, it's still a very good news.
anyways, I'm in the same boat as Hideyoshi, because... well, let's just hope what the talkin'-dog said about the "babies" isn't true.

I love Hideyoshi's ninja outfit. It's unrealistic, but it's cute on her. <3 Also, episode 2 as a whole was better than the first. I think this show might actually go somewhere, so I'll stick with it.

Have to be honest. When episode draws you in without relaying on boobs and pantyshots you know they are doing something right. In other words, this episode totally captivated me from the start to finish with its presentation. I'm starting to like the main girl, she is clumsy and clueless at times but very adaptive to the situation with her nice and easy going personality.

No men huh? This may sound weird but it's totally cool. Now I just wished there was some yuri romance and everything will be perfect.

Really liking the series so far. And I agree with Kismet-chan, the ninja outfit has a cute design.

I like this episode. I think it sets itself better than the episode and i enjoyed the first 10 minutes of it.

This episode sets Hideyoshi as an idealist, combining the Heisei-era positivie work ethics with Sengoku-era warrior ethics to rebuild a burned village. I like that concept. The writers use Hideyoshi's personality to it's full use other than just making her a butt monkey (It was even subverted at the end of this episode).

What i'd like to see for this anime is to pull a Gintama and pull in a serious Benizakura-esque story arc in the midle of the humour. If they manage to create an amazing arc episode, it would be great.

Yeah, i do have to agree that with Crimson. it's interesting that they don't shove boobs and pantyshots right into your face. And i like that. It's basically saying "The boobs are there. Cherish it."

As I mentioned before, Date-sensei is has got something to do with the Crimson Armor.. I don't know if Hideyoshi will recognize her, given that she's wearing an eye-patch and her hairstyle is different.

And Hideyoshi's phone better run out of batteries soon, I'll be pretty mad if it's a magical phone that lasts for months on end for the entire time she's stuck there or something, because that's the lamest plot trap ever.

Most phone batteries last for quite a while as long as you don’t use them. Just a day passed, if after two weeks it’s still running I still wouldn’t be surprised.

I don't think it'll be a big deal. Hideyoshi already saw someone that looked like a friend and yet clearly wasn't. She'll either not recognize the teacher or assume it's not her. May figure it out eventually, but probably not right away.

And yeah the outfit for Hideyoshi was pretty cute. Works with her personality. Nice that she found a style of fighting that fit her though she still lost in the end.
