But something just came to my mind... who is the narrator in the anime? Who says "this day humanity received a grim reminder" and so on? The voice is female it seems... and I got the feeling that Isayama told the staff to make that voice to be female, because I think the narrator is the "Mysterious Woman"/"Geographia" (who even came up with that name?) from the recent chapters. Or is it just Armin? Didn't sound like his VA though.

Definitely sounded like Armin to me.
It's something that I always regarded as possibility that Armin will be final survivor.
They brought change in the World, the Titans are gone, Humanity is free.
For Eren, he travelled the World saw those Frozen Lands and Fiery Water.
And what we see being him reminiscing about the past, the final pages being Armin's death making the story the "Life flashing before his eyes".

That's what I thought until I read chapter 50's Final Pages.
Cause unlike before it actually referred to "We".
There isn't a Narrator, it's someone from the Group telling it to someone.
Storywise we readers are non-existent to the characters.
I know "Narrator" shits on that, but there was never a mention of "We" before but just Names.
Eren,Irvin,Scouting Legion etc.No me, you,we,he,she,us or anything.
It really feels like (to me at least) as if someone is telling this to someone.
And since we got "We", it means the Narrator is someone from the Legion,Ymir excluded.
I for one would go with Historia = Narrator for Ch. 50 to further emphasize on her loss.Besides, if someone is telling this story to someone, I gladly go with the Person who's name is History.

Regarding the 20 volumes: Isayama, the mangaka, said in an interview that his goal is to end the series around volume 20. So the last chapter will probably be something around chapter 80-100.

lol i was soo happy when i heard that it will end aroudn 100 chaps and that i wont have to wait that long... it is then that i realised that a single chapter comes per month -_-
thats like 30 more months........f* this its gona be same as naruto and one piece -.-

No... Naruto will probably end sooner, maybe this year even, while One Piece will go on for the next 10 years probably.

SnK will probably take 2-4 years until it is done.

In the translation I read, Armin pretty much suggested to cause some massive problem/destruction involving death of innocent people and make it look like governments fault.

He was suggesting to kill innocent people for their own good. Not rich people, he onl wants to over throw them.

Yeah we can call that character development but neverthless Arming is starting to scary me. We are only halfway the manga, what is he going to be towards the ending?

He's already starting to show signs of becoming worse than Erwin.
Erwin at least doesn't want to kill anyone nor use Military Force while Armin flat out proposed to kill a bunch of innocent people.And of course also used Bertholdt's feelings to hurt him innerly by giving him mental images of Annie getting horribly tortured.

I can totally see Armin in the future in cold blood causing the death of someone major and close to him (Connie,Jean or Sasha) for a plan of his to work, yet leaving others in the dark just like Erwin did with capturing Annie.
Fulfilling his development and this notion of becoming a Monster to overcome Monsters.
