Inoue Marina updated her blog with a message saying all recordings for Maria Holic is done as of January 26, while this does not necessary translate to all the animation is finished, it's still fast, especially coming from Shaft. (I remembered a 3-months TV series would normally finished recording around episode 7~10 broadcast.)

Yeah, unlike here were we have to dub the anime* when it's already done, they just record the voices and then match the animation, so I doubt the animation is done.

*though we do the voice recording before too in american animated movies, most of the time

At least she doesn't get to steal the show(which I think shouldn't be a good thing). The standout performances in this show remain as Sanada Asami(Vita from Nanoha A's should be enough to express her ability) and Kobayashi Yuu(sadly I've only noticed her strong-voiced roles, like Kaere from Zetsubou Sensei, but she gets to up her ante here) who play the main characters, in my opinion.

Kameyama Toshiki is back as sound director for this show. Damn he works his magic again.

It's supposed to be 13 episodes long.

Hehe, definitely a must-watch anime of the season. Come to think of it, if seeing Kanako get bullied by Mariya is sadistic...what about Nodame? -wry- I love that anime, but Chiaki-senpai's smacking (admittedly, anime-ish smacking) made me wince a lot more than (my take on) what happens in this episode.

Though the stampeding was definitely wince-worthy. Poor Kanako! I personally enjoyed the changes to the OP, as well...though is it me, or did they make Mariya & Matsurika bigger in a few scenes? (Original vs Ep 4) Have a few more of the changes (before and after) pics up on my blog post for the ep.

I'm glad to see it's still very faithful to the manga; which seems to be at 4 volumes (in Japanese), last I checked. Hopefully someone who's read the raws could answer your question, vandakiara?
