I was planning to go to Otakon, but my parents weren't willing to pay for hotel rooms. Ah, I wish I could go and see, but the price of a hotel room nearby the convention center is so expensive. Also, since I live in New York, it takes a long time to get there. I went the last two years but I can't go this year.

I think everyone is on vacation or something. Our head writer has no (or little) internet connections and several others are busy with the various Saimoes.

More artwork or the return of the side projects is needed as filler until the writers/editors return.

I know i should be working on the volume covers but I couldn't resist with messing around with the facepalm, only put a single layer of color on it so far, one of my attempts at drawing and vectoring my own drawing, i (minus the other layers I'll put in at a later date) ts not amazing but gotta start somewhere:

Well, there went my free time for the past week. I can't believe I went through all 11110 posts. I think my mahjong buddies think I'm dead now. Oh, and with some extra layers, that pic is gonna look great, Fury.

Staying on topic, I think my favourite scene that will be genderfied(?) will be the LAN duel between the computer club and the SOS Brigade. I mean, I can just imagine Haruki as Leroy Jenkins incarnate. The genderfying(?) just seems to flow so well in that scene, it's almost scary.

In other news, I've started rewriting my version of Boredom... it actually flows well, and I can tie the end into the Vol. 2 prologue.

It's getting easier now that the characters are all complete... the one problem I have is to make the all-female team work...
