Index' memory is near perfect, at least ever since the last time her memories as a human were erased, so the way she acts towards Stiyl is rather normal. To her he seems to be a rather bold guy, and her interactions with him when he hurt her before and also chased her were not exactly nice.

Index remembers Stiyl after volume 1 I believe, but she doesn't have a good impression of him. Plus she have no idea of the sacrifices he had made.

This epi was good but not amazing. Well mostly because it is just the intro episode of the main arc. Touma's still Touma and Index's still Index.

Oh well. Ive never really been a fan of the Amakasuka Catholics term or whatever its called simply because such a religion would never happen in real life. But then again Nuns whose skirt length in way too hugh and is wearing high heels wouldnt exist as well too. Not that this series was anywhere realistic anyway

). I hope there's more action too.

I guess no Mikoto this arc. Maybe the next one... Im not an LN reader anyway. Unrelated to the topic but can anyone tell me when does Mikoto appear again?

You do know that the whole Amakusa Christians does have real world connections right? It's not a made up thing, back in the old Japan, Christians were under persecution.

Overall a good episode, but it felt slightly rushed (that just might be me moaning not as much Orsola and Touma interaction as there could be). The constantly spinning maid was a distraction though, that was unnecessary IMO.

But I am glad that they put in Stiyl's reaction to Touma's question - and he didn't really answer the question of who he CURRENTLY likes too xD

Managed to see it through and I am tired as ever so I will say this.....Amakusa party is rather interesting because their members use different magics from different religions which I assume will include black magic from the west and perhaps Asian too. Also a great and beautiful phrase from Magnus=>

loved that one. Episode is 10/10 and more to come.

I don't know how to imagine what if Aoi Yuuki voiced Agnese instead, but I think it'd be better if it wasn't Kugimiya Rie voicing that role. Because... uh, well, there's this awkward feeling when I hear Agnese speaking.

I still say Yuuki is better suited, she'll just use her Korone/Mina voice, which I think is more suited as Agnese than a potential tsundere loli's voice (no offence to Kugimiya)

Good episode I guess. The early parts of the episode had my head spinning literally, and my favorite part would be that bit of Touma and Orsola. I had a good laugh going on there.

The fan service scenes felt unnatural and forced though. I'm also surprised Agnese(?) isn't that quite aggressive when it comes to privacy matters. I must be be used to Index's 'bite first ask questions later' policy.

Oh and I must say, Laura looks damn fine.
