I wrote this because I got pissed when I heard that after 8 volumes HaruhixKyon relationship haven`t progressed. So mainly, this is [light] Haruhi x Kyon fanfic lol. Chapter 1+2+prologue is 20 pages long [A4 with TNR s12]. Have fun with reading it.

This is my biggest project yet, tho I did write some long stories before... (my personal record - RiKeR entering the Matrix - parody, 40 pages got lost somewhere :\)

BTW: If someone here have drawing skills, please contact me. I need someone to draw the pics since my drawing skills suck.

It would be difficult to imagine what would the limit of human technological advancement look like, but if Asahina-san is a representative of the path of future human evolution, it seems the human race would evolve along the line of moe-ness. The bad news, however, would be that girls in the future are still hopelessly clueless about computer games.

Is there any website or section here which goes through the show and points out a lot of some details that many people may have missed? I'm speaking more in terms of analysis of the episodes rather than summaries. This is because the show is shown out of order and therefore a lot of things wouldn't make sense in the earlier episode. I think there are some tiny tidbits about some of those details within the discussion, but does anyone know of any place devoted to those kind of details? By "those kind of details," here's an example:

An example would be in episode 4, when Haruhi hesitates when she attempts to put a ponytail on Mikuru, which wouldn't be noticable unless the last episode was seen

um.... she's got sexual urges like most females. Need for companionship, etc.

She tries to blow it off because it interferes with her quest for the exotic... but she's also indirectly telling Kyon, "come here I need you" ... of course, he's missing that massive clue since he's too busy being agitated at her.

I don't think that's true.. as in, I don't think she's telling Kyon anything directly or indirectly. In my mind, she isn't that sort of person.. throughout the entire series, and even including the novel up to volume 7. While she has obviously shown signs of interest (romantic, if interpreted so) in Kyon, she hasn't communicated ANY signal whatsoever to him that she wants to be with him/wants him to approach her.

Except mm. Something in Volume 7 could be suggestive

Well, it is not like Yuki actually understands her own desires. Just having emotions is already taking a lot out of her. To demand outbursts of fangirling over Kyon from Yuki would be too much.

I was really answering it based on my interpretation of the anime stand alone (not the books). If you'll notice, she makes those statements, Kyon fails to respond (not even sympathy) and then her mood really goes completely downhill. However, she may not even be aware of it --- just that she's feeling crushed by emotional forces. So thats how I took it.
If the novels provide different information or if someone wants to interpret what are often very subtle nuances differently I'm fine with that.

There are parts in the novel series which shows just how precious Kyon is to Haruhi. We know from Episode#14 that Kyon was the only person Haruhi wanted to be with when she's in the process of recreating the world. In Episode#10, Ryoko tried to kill Kyon, anticipating this would produce another explosion of data from Haruhi.

The highlight of book#2 would be Kyon getting so angry with Haruhi that he would have hit her, if Itsuki did not stop him in time. The quarrel left Haruhi feeling so dejected that she did not even summon Closed Space. As if mirroring her mood, the atmosphere in school the next day felt listless, even though it was less than a week to the Cultural Festival.

After Kyon went to cheer her up, Haruhi bounced back, more energetic than before. There are other subtler hints, of course, like when Kyon had to work overnight in the clubroom to finish editing the movie, Haruhi shocked Kyon by saying she'll stay and help him.

i think kyon had no choice because he wanna see Mikuru and everyone again, so he just remembered Sleeping Beauty, and kissed her ^^;
