I wanted to discuss about the next episode preview, but judging from some of the previous posts, it seems like it would become spoilers. So, I'll keep my mouth shut till next Sunday... although it'd be really difficult
hehe that scene was freaking funny. I couldn't help laughing when I saw that expression on Awran's face. Another funny scene was when Arthur was left dumbstruck while everyone follows Awran and enters the tomb Overall, this episode was really good. One more question though...the girl beside Pwyll... wasn't that Primula? (sorry if that's a spoiler too... I am just curious) |

Watched Episode 14.
Is it just me, or is the animation somewhat different in this episode? The faces don't seem to be quite the same as previous episodes.... Anyway, this week was practically the Facial Distortion Episode. Gaius also seems uncharacteristically pathetic. And what was with that snake puppet act? |

If you superimpose the mark on the hammer it matches Arthur's expression um... Yeah And another change in style is probably Octavia having bigger eyes. |

Can't see sh*t captain.
(It always amazes me how detailed they animate Morgan's "assets" every time the situation allows it.) --------- On a serious note, I liked the last episode, the fightscene was very well done, and I'm pleased to see that "the meat of the story" started to unfold. I anticipate the next few episodes. edit: Spoiler for small nitpick/clarification @Xizro's summary:
If someone's extremely curious about how the PC source-game looks, what dialogues they animated/skipped can check it out there. But be careful not to spoil yourself, as it's quite easy to start watching the parts about future events. Anime episode 14 started at about "0065" and finishes at "0069".

Can someone spoil the ending to the ps3 version for me? In a pm of course. Detail is appreciated. I was curious of how the script differs compared to the pc's end and what the fate of the characters are.
I'm late on the uptake but I want to comment on "Mystery of Avalon". I generally hate sequels. They should let a good story die before they mess it up but this seems alright kinda, since they thankfully seem to keep Arawn and his harem as the protagonists and it takes place a little while after the games end. Just so I'm the first to say it. They probably just made the game to bring back Lydia and properly add her to his wives list. 8 (Pc) and counting . Next weeks episode should be good. This previous episode and the following are really the start of the meat of the plot. No one should be surprised though at whats gonna happen next week... unless they didn't catch all the foreshadowing. |

Episode 14 was very well animated. Probably the best animated movement this series has seen thus far. The one thing that I noticed was that couple of the characters weren't exactly in their usual character mode. For example, Arwan seemed not himself. He was more cheerful, engaging, and less reserved. The opposite is Arthur. He was less annoying than usual, bit his tongue when needed, and was less forthcoming to open his loud mouth. Sweet Morgan, however, was her usual self. The animators paid extra attention as usual when it came to her prolific appearance. I enjoyed it.

Is it just me but when the group was fighting the guardian mechs Octavia charges in and looks like she gets a straight shot to her mid section which is blocked by her sword but sends her flying. That part of the scene was very quick anyone else catch it.
Also, i found it weird that once Ogam's spell disabled the ogre Arthur did not go for the throat for his killing blow even though it was the perfect target and within reach. Of course Octavia picks the sweet spot at the back of the neck to put it down for good. I just thought it was strange is all. Hand puppet from Riannon was pretty funny but I have never seen Arwan so depressed of heavy hearted before. Especially when he was talking about the dragons. There is a pretty big secret which of course Ogam knows because hes da shit that obviously has to do with Riannon the girl from the past and why possibly Riannon is having those flash backs. Animation looked fine to me except for the obvious which others have pointed out the distorted faces were a kick back. Morgan having bigger boobs didnt really bother me since i rarely pay attention to her.
