that would be a pretty decent ending though not exactly a happy one and it will close the series nicely (maybe some short OVA to finish it)

I've checked the opening and the only scene that caught my eye is one of Rina when her eyes are all white and she is desintegrating...I hope it is not her the one to die, because she is in my opinion the best character of the series...

Nah, not that scene.Rina disintegrating part was original animation.It is not illustration of the novel.I am talking about another scene that doesn't show Rina but related to an event from the novel....*Cough* who said that it would be her anyway

I just checked, and US Open tennis is on both 30 August and 6 September at midnight on WOWOW, in place of Mushiuta. Mushiuta ends (with ep12) on 4 October, just in time for the new anime season -- although Mushiuta's time-slot appears to be filled with subtitled British comedy (Extras). With the new anime Ghost Hound on at 11:30, and Moonlight Mile 2 on at 11.

Unfortunately I cant read this, but I found out in the unaired section of the forums that Mushi Uta is getting a second season, is this true?
If it is, that'd be good as they can probably make everything clearer

kasuo is insane (literally) ~ another comparison with black cat is that she feels that kakkou has gone soft/weak (a la creed's feelings for train XD)
asami's sudden "death" was unexpected really...i just knew that her mushi had something to do with that camera ~ duno whether i should feel sorry for her as i didnt find her attitude quite annoying (goddam you fool wth are you thinking "revealing the secrets of mushi to the world" ~ if she didnt notice she is one of them as well wonder if she ever though to riina disliking the idea or other people in lab coats trying to take her away afterwards...)
kakkou is safe and sound in the main pc (lets just hope that kasou doesnt do anything rash XD)

Seems to cover in detail parts of Shiika,Kakko and Haji past according to some reviews.Sort of parallel to Vol01 of the novel.

Woot after long hiatus, finally got to watch EP09

Spoiler:

Sweet!! Love how they mix different parts of the novel into original plot.
The build up was nice and even better if you read the novel because there are bunch of hints on how the ending would be from various conversations in this episode.

They don't really explain much about how Kakko survive last episode, just being implied that "C" actually saved him.

Lol at Haji/Kakko conversation in the toilets and Daisuke falling asleep during date after talking big

Rina's Dream was mentioned.Eru made a creepy appearance , I wonder whether they will ever animate any of the battle involving "starts three".

Everyone pretty much discover real identities of their close ones (Daisuke=Kakko is still a secret) this part differ the most from the novel...

Pretty nice drama, though I was expecting more interaction between Rina and Shiika towards the end of episode.

Kakko running out of time much sooner compared to the novel.

This is like the best scene from Ep09

Loved ep9. What a joy to listen to the voice work of Nabatame Hitomi (Rika) and Hanazawa Kana (Shiika).

Spoiler for ep9:

The mushi materializing at significant moments was great. The various realizations of who was who worked beautifully. I haven't read the novels, but the plot seems to be moving at a nice pace and unfolding things in a satisfying way. The way the evening felt dangerous was well done.

And despite the poor visual quality of the file I watched, I like the art. But the main thing for me was the beautiful way people's feelings were conveyed.

Yea...i found it weird that somehow kakko showed up again with not much of a warning
The subtlety of this series is just stunning, the drama was good but not over the top which is something that is pretty common these days - I just loved how Rina reacted to the news...she didnt go crazy or lost her cool but instead choose to hold her emotions until she got away (the embrace between her and shiika was just dam touching - just goes to show that you dont need a crying fest to get the point across - subtlety which i like to see )
now that kakko knows the identity of shiika...hes going to have more sleepless nights

question - I forgot about this but what is happening to kakko's body?
