Ok so Lion was just released. So what is the upcoming albums before OST2 comes out?

After listening to the full version of "Lion", I felt that May'n's voice fits the song best. Her voice has the strength to bring out the full emotion from the verses to the chorus. Imho, it's just not Megumi's genre. They should at least do a May'n stand alone version too.

^Was that the live version? In the live version Megumi held her own IMHO, because she wasn't using her Ranka voice.

Megumi's real voice is much stronger than Ranka, but not that special. There are tons of seiyuus who sound like her so I think if she debuted with that voice it would not be as successful people loves Ranka's voice because its pureness, sweetness, cuteness, etc... but her real voice lacks all that.

Nothing is coming out in between Lion/Northern Cross and Macross Frontier OST 2
(Nyan Tra.) which comes out the 8th of October. Unless you want to count the Bobby cd lol...

Let's see vocal songs to be on OST II are....

You forgot Ranshe's Aimo that and Sheryl's Aimo are my two most anticipated tracks out of all upcoming Macross F OST.

So now there's only Interstellar Flight left, but I hope it would be better than Anata no Oto. It sounds like a child song with mindless lyrics, just like Neko Nikki.

Interstellar Flight is Seikan Hikou, the song in ep 12 that pacified the Zentradi.

I find the lyrics of Neko Nikki clever in its shallowness, more substantial than Interstellar flight and, yes, Anata no Oto (or what we hear from it so far) IMHO.

Concur. Neko Nikki is actually a much better song than Anata no Oto IMHO because there's actually some feeling in it.

Anata no Oto sounds pretty good from what was in ep19. Light-hearted and catchy.

I think the melody is growing on me faster than Seikan Hikou did. But the lyrics... not so much yet, we only have a few lines to start off with

I never liked the melody for Seikan Hikou so I agree that Anato no Oto is better, at least musically.

I really love the music in this show. My friends think I'm crazy for listening those types. Well, everyone is different I say. Man can listen what he wants.
Opening and endings are top notch, but we need one ending with Leon and Grace singing. Or at least, from Mr. Bilrer...
