Since this was a doujin game, this game was sold only at specialty shops like Toranoana, Melon Books, etc. Unfortunately, "Tsukibako" (the deluxe three-disc set which includes: "Tsukihime," "PLUS+DISC," and "Kagetsutouya") became sold out in Japan just before "Shingetsutan Tsukihime" aired.

You can however, buy it from the Japanese Yahoo! Auction site which sellers start bidding price at an outrageous price of 30,000 yen (USD$300). Since the original MSRP for "Tsukibako" was sold at Toranoana was only 2500 yen (USD$25), you can see how rare it is to find this. Many sellers are rake in profits by selling it on Yahoo! Auction for 12 times the original price....which surprises me as well as there are people who actually bid on them.

It would be best that your friend wait a little bit more (unless he/she finds a non-Japanese site that sells one) since there are rumors that TYPE-MOON might re-release "Tsukihime" as a "remastered/full-version." Finally, the light has arrived for poor Sacchin!?
