Finally some action!
It was about time we got to see some serious fighting.
Watching the summoned beings fight was pretty awesome.
Alcor - Hibiki heart-to-heart was interesting.
At least they gave us some new info and explanations.

If the concept of points is how much in despair you are, then all Daichi needs is to get really depressed to have enough money to buy a high level demon in the auction instead of getting all those weak ones every time.

Seems like a poorly thought out plot point behind the Macca system to me.

That would imply Hibiki has been despairing even more than Io who lost her parents from the very beginning. What?

I don't think it works like that but if so, that would mean quite something for Yamato. It'd make sense if his despair was greatest since he's known exactly what the purge entails from the very beginning.

Wow, I was half joking earlier when I said that the anime macca = emo points. It turns out to be correct. So dumb. RIP Joe and Otome. On the plus side, their death would give plenty macca to the survivors so they could fight another day. We are not even halfway through the septenterions.

Umm, it's not a recurring joke. I don't even think that you can call this a "joke" after the several repetitions

Dengar, the Dera-Deka cameo was in Airi's flashback regarding the Music Hall and her piano recital. It's the shot where Airi's running down the steps to meet him.

Umm...something which is repeated can still be a joke (hence recurring). Just look at Team Rocket's antics in almost every Pokemon episode. Whether or not the joke is effective is a different matter entirely.

To me it seems like the exact opposite. Everything about this story is about whether or not people have a strong enough will to live, I think the macca amount reflects this.

I already had anxiety when she was the "sacrifice" in episode 3. Why do I have to wait at least two weeks? Oh great, episode 10 is titled Spoiler: "6th Day: Friday's Partings". Although it refers to Spoiler: the party splitting due to their differing ideas about how to continue onwards, it still doesn't fill me with hope regarding survival rates.
