I'm really enjoying this series. Sayuri is hilarious and I like the rivalry between the lead and his friend. The girl seems to be a bit lacking in personality and development, though. Feels more like she's just "there" for some comedy relief and occasional ecchi.

Pretty funny manga, Kurogane is a very interesting character...but if he has trouble lifting a .5kg shinai, how does he cope with that armour? Don't know much about kendo so it seems like there's a limited number of things to do with it, but I really hope the author surprises me on this one

Hmm hmm good stuff still from this very nice little serires so far.
Really liking it alot now. Chibi Sayuri is damn cute, it's such a contrast between the 2 forms And oh hohoho is that sparks I see between Kuro and Tsubame? good good, I hope to see more of that. You know thing is good few years ago I wouldn't have cared for romanic subplot is such a series but now I think if you have one it ccan add a great deal to the story if handled well enough. And i would certainly like tosee one here, would be such a waste to not see melodrama/sparks when it involves such a lass as Tsubame, she's "cho kawaii!"

He probably wants to be ready for everything...I'm more curious as to how our little swordsman friend got his left arm injured, and how an ornamental doll can pass around as a human being...also kinda wondering if Tsubame knows any kendo or if she's just the club's flower pot, i.e. just there to look good.

Thats the surprise here, usually a physically weak character tends to avoid sports or heavy activities as much as possible but Kurogane doesn't, he wants to take part. I think it will probably be played that he's put through some heavy special training that will bolster his body but only is some ways that benefits his own style.
