This season is kinda the same thing that happened with Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai. The entire season only covered 1 volume of the light novel with anime original fillers added.

I'm not sure but I think the first half (eps 1-5) is anime original fillers and the second half (eps 6-10) is from vol 4.

I greatly enjoyed this final episode for the sake of serious action and light melodrama. Ariel is sent to school for rather random purposes, whilst Haruna disguises as science teacher but end up making a great disaster to everyone, much to Ayumu's chagrin. Then, Haruna, Eu and Sera gets blocked in a delusion world by Ariel only to meet various dark sides of Ayumu, which one of them is taking control of the real Ayumu's body (reminds me of Black Rock Shooter when Mato gets alienated by IBRS). Fortunately, Eu and Haruna defeat dark Ayumu to save real Ayumu who has been hosted inside his dark body. After some cameos (including the appearance of Queen Lily), Ayumu is showing his last words before ending up with Eu. However, the next biggest announcement for this anime wouldn't come until 8 days instead of today, but I'll give a little review for this second season : although this does not look as good as season 1, it nonetheless manages to keep up its comedy light entirely, with some action and romance. Hope I'll enjoy the next project of this aforementionned franchise as well.

Of course don't tell me go to Japan for watching immediately in theater. I can't speak or read moon runes.

In the first place, why 10 episodes? Thanks to that, not only did the thing with Chris not close or heck even develop, but they introduced another new character at the end.
The last episode was fairly retarded comedy too, but... well, the entire season was comedy. So much comedy, I wished they would get serious for once......... But then you remember what the 1st season was like when it became serious, so then you think that maybe it is a good thing that the 2nd season is all comedy. But then you see the last episode being so pointless, you start wishing it did get serious in the end. But then you remember what... *loop*

I'll give it 8/10 though. The comedy was funny, but it honestly got a bit old as the season went on. Yuu's setting got messed around with for the sake of comedy, which is a minus. Previously = Can't do this... --> Now = But wait, with this new setting we just added, she can *makes excuse*
And the OP song wasn't good (didn't like the pausing and tempo-changing).

What the hell with the last episode. So anti climatic and just leave more questions that needs to be answered. The only good thing that happen is seeing

Dai-sensei's pantsu from pink to lace violet. The dark Ayumu are all retarded and the memory lost plot was turn into trash one that I don't get what's the deal with it to become a better masou shoujo.

Disappointing end though maybe not the end with the see you again from Eu and Eu imaginations.

I haven't watched the 10th episode yet, but from the reactions here, I understand that the staff understood from the first season that they don't have the skill to mix in plot with the novels' humor. Not a bad choice, at least what they did was very enjoyable, and they plan to continue... hopefully not with a movie, because unless is in Japan to watch it, he/she will have to wait 6-12 months for the BD/DVD. IMHO it would be better continue with OVAs or another TV season when the novel concluded the Lillia/Arial/Chris arc.

EDIT: you know, with that Dark Ayumu, it really reinforces my old belief in season 1, that the King of the Night could be a path that Ayumu has taken.
