Yet again i'm surprised they left out a few spoiler scenes in the preview for next weeks episode. Saying that, the episode name does the spoiling job.

They didn't show Trunks in the preview but I'm guessing he'll appear for next week's cliffhanger (that's how it was in Z right?)

As for new opening/ending, I don't know this is Toei we're talking about they only change OPs once every four years or so.

We might get new OP animation though or a slightly different OP animation featuring Androids instead of Frieza.

Yeah i'll be guessing we'll see this, and wouldn't be surprised if the OP doesn't change straight away.

Yes, but Cyborg Freiza's arrival is covered over two episodes. It's possible they'll use a different cliffhanger and Trunks will be pushed over to 56 (but I hope not!). In 54, they left in Vegeta's venture into space, so his landing and acquiring the BAD MAN shirt needs to be covered.

Also, King Cold is going to have a new VA since Daisuke Gori passed away.

Hopefully Kai will use a new piece of music for when Trunks transforms into a SSJ. But I must say, it's going to be very hard to beat the "Battle Point Unlimited" piece that was used in Z.

Indeed. That BGM was incredibly awesome and definitely part of what made it one of my favorite SSJ transformation scenes.

People only talk about how Gohan SSJ2's transformation just won't be the same without Spirit vs Spirit, but to me Battle Point Unlimited is just as essencial to Trunks', and it'll indeed be very hard for Kai to top it.

I don't think it needs to top it. As long as we get a piece that fits the scene, and satisfies me as a fan, then i'll be pleased.

As an alternative, Toei could actually keep "Battle Point Unlimited" in Kai since that song was composed by Kenji Yamamoto himself. But we'll find out soon enough what will be done with the Trunks SSJ transformation.

54 was a pretty nice wrap up episode for the Namek saga. Bulma was particularly cool in it and Vegeta embarassed by her flirting = win.

Thank god for no Garlic Jr. now. Straight into Freeza's return (to think he was only gone for one episode, haha) and Trunks. Hell yeah.

I gotta say, it felt like an eternity before Freiza's return in the original

Glad to see them jumping right into the next arc without any hesitation, man I love Kai.

Yeah it's just amazing to finish this episode and see the Freeza preview right there. It really did feel like forever before they got to that part and now we're just going in. Definitely the great part of Kai.
