According to MOON PHASE, the airing dates for Rozen Maiden Ouvertüre have been announced.

Part 1 will air on December 22 (Fri) at late night, Part 2 will air on December 23 (Sat) at late night on TBS.

Dates have yet to be announced, but it will be broadcasted on BS-i (16:9 I presume) as well.

A nice early Christmas present indeed.

Hm...
Spoiler for Speculation for premise:

TBS is going to air Winter Garden (coincidently, another Sanada Asami/ Sawashiro Miyuki teamup) on the same consecutive nights as well, and the Part 1 I saw at the TBS Festa was around 20 minutes. So by the same token, I would imagine Ouvertüre to be the same, about 25 minutes each, including the opening and ending songs.

45 minutes is about on par with what I expected. That means jumping in head-first to the fast-paced action with a few slowdowns for emotional moments.

Hmmm......this sounds interesting, but I am not the biggest fan of Sugintou. Not that I don't like her, but I prefer the other dolls myself. But I think I will like it, even though I am not excited about it, since Sugintou is nto really one of my favorites, not that I dislike her.

^ No expectation in that area for me, I'm fine with it being Gin-centric only, or I'm fine with them developing other dolls too. However, we can be sure that the other dolls will appear in the OP. Tho I think its likely at least one doll will be present with her, otherwise, who will Gin fight?

Kira or not, I don't care... As long as Shinku ownes Gin like she used to do in the 2 seasons, there will be no problem for me.

She could watch from the sidelines in the N field. Kira seems that she is a manpilator........

Anyway, I have a feeling that Gin wasn't always the sadistic killer she is currently......and that she was a "goodie" doll like the central five dolls (Shinku, Suseiseke, Soseiseke, Kana and Hina.) I have a feeling that the events of Overture changed her from that into the murderous creature she is in Rozen Maiden.

Yeah, that's probably true. Perhaps she was fine until Rozen started making other dolls because she was incomplete.

And I really hope they add a season 3 after this. I wanted to see the Alice Game be resolved, but since this takes place in the past, that's not gonna happen in the OVA.

I think you're right, her mad crusade to become Alice is mainly because she wants to be complete, and be beautiful in Rozen's eyes.

Pretty site, Queen Nori!
