Seriously though. Who even cares about what the authors say when the fans own the fandom?

Then Nunnally is presumed dead. There goes his whole reason to live. And then the Black Knights turn on him. The people that would be dead or still choking under Britannia's heel if not for him are now out to kill him. I think after that and Rolo's death, he figured he would go kill Charles like he's always planned and then die so he can rejoin all those he's lost. At the end of episode 19 right after Rolo's death, he says, "Charles zi Britannia, in my fall to Hell, I will drag you down with me." I think though that after Charles tells him that if Ragnarok Junction fails, the world will be left to Schniezel's hands, Lelouch decides that the way he can make his death count for something and atone for all the blood on his hands is the Zero Requiem. In episode 22, he says that he will erase the Massacre Princess' name with blood, as he and Suzaku have lost too much: Nunally and Euphie. Zero Requiem was his way of reuniting with Shirley, Euphie, Nunally, and Rolo.
All too true. If only he already knew one of those people were still alive. That sure would have changed things, no? Then again, so would Ohgi and Villetta not showing up during Schneizel's talk with the Black Knights, quite possibly meaning, no betrayal. Oh, for the want of a nail.

What I want to know is how Orange walked away from all that mess. I mean almost everyone else that was really involved in the Zero Requiem either ended up presumed dead by everyone (Suzaku and Lelouch) or believed to have betrayed Lelouch and so were now his enemy (Cecil, Lloyd, and Nina), except for CC and Orange. I am sure CC is a master at disappearing, but Jeremiah owns an orange orchard with the Knight of Six. That's not disappearing. So my question is how did he not end up on trial or something for war crimes?
Well, it's not like Orange is the only Karma Houdini amongst the living. Not by a longshot.

He did find out that one was still alive and he wanted to turn chicken and ditch the Zero Requiem, but then Suzaku was like, "Sucka please! You promised me you would use the Zero Requiem to make Euphie feel all warm and fuzzy inside and if you renig on this deal, I am so going to chain you up in my basement and pimp you out for porn videos for the rest of your life."

And then C.C. pretty much told Lelouch, "Hey Lelouch, grow some balls cause I want the guy that puts 'smiles' on my faces to actually have balls." So yeah, Lelouch tried to back out in 23, but he sucked it up and pushed on.

You got me there. Orange disappeared and came back like five million times. But I'm just saying, someone is going to be like "The Knight of Six is out living on some orange farm without any adult supervision. She's only like 11. We should really send some social worker out there to make sure she is getting the proper environment for someone her age." Bam, social worker shows up and two weeks later, everyone and their mothers know that Lelouch's most devout fan outside of the fangirls is hiding out on an orange farm.

The fans make up stuff that contradict anything the authors intend to do in the future. Like Lara Croft for example. She began as a dynamic woman, the fandom turned her to a slut, the producers desided to kill her and fandom brought her back with a new slutty image. And her appeal was in fact way smaller than before.

Euphie would have never wanted such a thing in reality. It was only the fulfillment of a death wish on Lelouch's part.

What I meant was if he had known all along that Nunnally was still alive, because her apparent death was one of the motivating factors behind the Zero Requiem.

Nunnally had to be incredibly naive though to levels bordering on The Load, the way she trusted Charles, and ultimately, Schneizel.

Actually I was referring to Cornelia who was responsible for some war crimes in her day. Not to mention Villetta who was let off the hook too easily, even though she was responsible for the worse events throughout the series, and in a sense, Ohgi, who screwed things up, yet along with Villetta, got the happiest ending in the series.

Well, I guess everyone gets a full pardon if they even looked funny at Lelouch. That was probably all part of the plan. Besides, she saved all the people in charge of everything at the end.

Maybe, but it doesn't even begin to cover the blood she shed, which she neither regretted nor atoned for. To that effect, she was also one of the greater causes of Britannian tyranny, and Lelouch's greatest adversary to that effect for awhile. It just doesn't make any sense.

Yes azul120, but she's Cornelia.
You know how many anime go (although there are exceptions).
The woman with the biggest bewbs usually survives.

Thus, Cornelia survived at the end even though she didn't deserve too.
See, if Euphie's bewbs were a few sizes larger (like Motoko Kusanagi size), then she'd have survived.

Spoiler for Bewb logic:

That doesn't explain Nina though.

I'm not sure anything can explain Nina...

Table-kun has her own rules, and I assume her unique taste in sex-toys was good enough to keep her alive...but only Okouchi knows for sure.

Poor tables... I would have felt really sorry for Nunnally if she accidentally got temporary vision and saw that..

I still believe this is the BEST anime ever. Storyline was excellent, the mechs weren't Gundams but still very cool. Also, The Nightmares had nice animation, not all CG. Had many plot twists, extremely sad parts, and not many single-episode fillers. This is one of those animes you cry at the end for multiple reasons.

10/10

This series has it's flaws. And many of them. But still it is one of my favourites because of its very high entertainment value. Even though it lacks the superb direction of series' like death note and leaves a lot of plot holes, it did achieve one thing, developing Lelouch. It's like the whole series sacrificed itself for this one thing, and this is why I love it. Remove Lelouch and I wouldn't even consider watching a series so badly done. Code geass gambled on sensationalism and was an epic win for me. So a 10/10 ought to do it

In my opinion this series has very few flaws, but many questions left, but it is still right next to DBZ, Bleach, and One Piece in my book. The main character is the best of them all

I didn't like the idea of having so many characters die. But still a great show.

I wanted to ask what's the next anime of Code Geass?

Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito, but they don't have a premiere/release date for it yet.
