I doubt we can say Athena exists at this point in time. Though, if she were to return, I believe she'd be like she was before - a bitter rival, written as friend, as Japanese say it (I think, lol).

I thought it would be nice for Godou to kill Athena and get the ability to summon her as an authority.

Also, when is next coming out?Still no news?Shouldnt it be time for the new volume already?Its been 10 months since the last volume was released.

The author hasn't dropped the light novel as far as I can find. Why would he when it sells better than his other series? The only thing that was dropped was baka-tsuki's translation because of a DMCA.
