In Biyori you mean? Matano actually came off as easily confused. Remember, she didn't quite get what Teru and Awai were trying to get her to buy, to the point that the two decided to just go out themselves.

Sumire: Responsible parent
Awai: Mischievous youngest child.
Teru: More serious older sister who occasionally still gets into trouble with youngest sister
Other 2: More normal siblings

We actually have the leaked images for the next chapter, and yes, apparently many pages lack toner. The one I saw was the shot of Rinkai in uniform, where they literally looked white. I think only Satoha had any color to her, and even then it was just her hair.
