i started this series like last week after seeing bits and pieces of eps. 1 and 4 from the Anime Club I'm in at school and I thought it was cute and funny--- reason why I'm eagerly awaiting for animsuki to get eps. 16- 26 T__T but I don't it's ever gonna come out... -weeps-
The boy who blew up the wall in the first eps. is Natsume who's a "top student" in his grade because he has tremendous power, blah blah blah. =) Nothing new, but so far from what I gathered from eps. 1-15, the writers or drawers, whoever, are hinting that Mikan [main charrie] and Natsume may have somethin going on -cough- at the age of 10? -cough- <<- this all referring to some previous post that i didn't realize wasn't the last -mutters to self- me... ish... baka.. mwehhh I read in someone's blog review while googling Gakuen Alice, [apparently the blogger had seen most of the eps. prob. in japanese?] Well, the blogger is a reviewer of these animes and she said that in one of the later eps. i forgot which, there's a dance thing and whoever one dances with the last dance, will be with forever or something. I think that's when Mikan and Hotaru are wearing those fairy-like costumes? if anyone has seen that screenshot. it's in the opening credits or whatever you want to call it =] |

I was kinda iffy about this series when I first saw it, but it started getting good in the last few episodes released on fansub. I really liked episode 10 about the howalon, I actually had a dream about it that night. Also, episodes 13-15 got so interesting, I'm now hooked on seeing the whole series. So, anymore fansubs would be extremely grateful by me and everyone else watching this series!

If it hasn't already been mentioned, anyone who is waiting for more eps should check Naisho Fansubs' site and just patiently wait for more fansubs, instead of making posts that are actually rants in disguise

Actually I wasn't expecting anything anymore. You know, the "patient" type desperately trying to abide the "NEVER ASK WHEN..." rule. ^^ Then I spend too much time here, I don't visit groups sites often. But I'm not as lazy as the ones durrem is referring to. lmao. At least, I hope I aren't.

This has been a very enjoyable series to watch so far. Like Zero no Tsukaima, Gakuen Alice sort of carries that Harry Potter feel to it as well: students at a school of magic theme. And sure, everything follows a simple plot and there really aren't any big mysteries to completely engross a viewer, but nonetheless, this is still a very fun series to follow. Light-hearted humor, entertaining characters, a fantastic, isolated little world.
Mikan is such a likeable character too. In fact, I love all the different students and the unique personalities and Alices they bring to this show. I can't wait to see more. |
