I'm not one to snuff out creative thoughts but three story lines on a joint fic may be a little too much? I'll archive them if you wanna do it though.
Week pt.16 is dedicated to Angel. I hope your having a good day <3
Spoiler for Week pt.16:
Day five.
I wonder how long this would last? This feeling in my stomach, the excitement and nervousness in my throat. As I lay awake in bed staring at my ceiling I pondered exactly what it meant. Everyone always said that the feeling didn't last long, that it would slowly die off and we would become used to each other...
Well, I've seen that in some couples and it made me a little annoyed. I waited so long for Nanoha, now that I had the chance to be with her, why would I want the feelings to go away? Yes, those couples were fakes in my book. I was sure the way I felt would last. Just like that couple down at the bread store, or Nanoha's parents. That's how I wanted to be.
The light shining through my blinds finally reached my open eyes and I rolled over. Arf, in her puppy form, fell from my stomach and mumbled something sleepily before going to the foot of my bed. As I sat up I pondered what I should do today. Already I had taken Nanoha to many places so what was left?
Slowly I moved from my bed and walked to my dresser to pick out clothes for the day. A matching dark black bra with bikini style panties were placed over my body and covered with semi-baggy bluejean shorts and a shirt that showed off my stomach. Not so much for looking sexy but mainly because it was so freaking hot outside.
The way downstairs was made casually, sounds of morning filling the apartment. Just as I passed my brother's room the door opened softly. Used to running into him, I quickly danced around the person and went to wish him a good morning.
Only it was Amy.
Coming out of Chrono's room in one of his shirts.
Early in the morning.
Processing, please wait.....
My eyes went wide and I took a small breath of air to prepare myself for the squeal. Fortunetly for Amy she reacted fast enough to cover my mouth and press a finger to her lips with a 'Shhhhhh' sound. I nodded ecstatically at her and found her hand removed from my lips. "Since when?" I whispered to her softly as the door closed.
"A while," She replied with a small embarrassed smile. "I need to go,"
I understood why. If Mom caught her there would be so much teasing and questions they would never have privacy again. As I watched Amy walk away with a slight limp towards the bathroom for a shower a thought crossed my mind.
Privacy.
That's right, Mom and Chrono were going back to Midchilda today to check on their new ship being constructed... Amy was sure to go with them... Which meant I would be alone today.
Alone with Nanoha....
I could feel my cheeks burning. Was it too early? Would she be startled by it? But I'm not planning to seduce her or anything... I just want to cuddle, maybe watch a movie, cook her dinner...
Yes, that was fine. Just because we're dating doesn't mean that we're still not friends. She has come over many times to just hang out. Tonight will be same, only with cuddling. Oh wow, I want to snuggle her... The very idea was making me giddy.
A deep breath calmed me down enough to get control of my thoughts again. I was a mature adult, there was no way I was going to get all light headed and dreamy over just this. With a nod I confirmed it to myself and walked forward, tripped over myself because I wasn't paying attention, and landed with a thunk on the floor.
"Ow... I hit my nose..."

I was nervous. That was to say the least. I spent most of the morning shopping for everything I needed to cook dinner tonight and prepared as much of it as I could so I wouldn't have to spend very long in the kitchen. Everyone was already gone and I was about to leave myself. I was going to pick Nanoha up at her house and walk her here. I didn't have to but I had a plan in mind.
As I left my house I assured myself that this wasn't going overboard. I mean, it wasn't like I was going to buy her roses or anything... Just flowers. Pretty flowers. Something to show my feelings for her, that's all. Maybe a teddy bear too? No, that's too much. Stay simple, Fate, stay simple.
The flower shop came into view about mid-way to my girlfriend's house and after a quick stop I emerged with a simply bouquet of mixed flowers. Nothing over the top, no red roses blooming, just a nice arrangement. Yes, she would like this. I'm sure she would understand that I wanted to tell her how I felt but didn't want to go overboard. One confession of love threw her world upside down, I don't need to do it again. Flowers were a nice sign of friendship and caring, as well as love. She will understand them all.
Why am I convincing myself this over and over? Calm down!
The café came into sight and I sped up a little. One because I wanted to get to see her faster and two because the sun was blazing. Have I mentioned I don't like heat?
Cool air greeted me and I exhaled in satisfaction. "Hello," I greeted Momoko happily, plucking one flower from the arrangement and handing it to her. "For you."
"Aw, thank you!" Momoko sniffed it and beamed at me. "You're so sweet."
"I try," I was blushing again at the compliment. "Is Nanoha ready or should I go fetch her?"
"I'm here," Nanoha's voice came from the kitchen and shortly she jogged out of it, stopping when she saw me. "Eh?"
"And for you," I continued my earlier statement, giving the glass vase to Nanoha.
"I...thank you..." She fidgeted softly, leaning forward and smelling them. "... Thanks, Fate-chan...."
She sounded... sad?
"Nanoha?" I asked softly, a little worried. Did I mess up?
"Sorry," The girl sniffed and rubbed both her eyes, wiping away tears that had yet to properly form. Another sniff came and Momoko took the flowers from her to place in the middle of the café. "I'm a little..." She rubbed her eyes again to make sure the tear were gone. "Allergic to some flowers."
I face palmed. Figures. "I'm sorry..."
"It's okay, let's not talk about it." Nanoha walked by me and hurried to the door. On the way after her Momoko gave me a soft encouraging look, and I got the vibe from her that I should keep trying my best. My girlfriend sniffed again when I met her and was trying to calm herself down. "Okay, what's the plan today?"
"Um," I reached out to take her hand but found her slowly wrapping her arms around my offered one and rested her head on my shoulder while hugging it. "I thought maybe we could just go to my place and hang out? Watch a movie and just talk or something?"
"That sounds okay," She nodded and walked next to me, cheek against my shoulder, despite the strange looks we got from some people. "And Darling?"
"Yes, Honey?" Back to pet names.
"They were pretty."
"Your fa-"
"My face is pretty, I know." She giggled, mood lightening and smile appearing over her face again. "You always say that."
With a giggle I looked forward, now over my slip up on the flowers. "Let's hurry, it's way too hot outside."
"Wuss," She teased.
Week 16, was funny, had an image in my head of Fate walking down the hall hugging herself before falling flat on her face.
And in week 17, Fate messed up a little bit, she should have gone with the teddy.

Though in all honesty, how long you've been a fan doesn't matter to how big a fan you are.
No but it shows how long you've known that there's something to fantasize about
I don't think that was the real term

This entire idea is crack. A little whiff more hardly matters at this point.
I meant that neither of us could go with the gut feel of just writing it, but we had to start making up backup stuff like timelines and such. (Even tho it's in a completely different dimension )
I'm a tad extreme when it comes to timelines. I managed to write Keroko into the Nanoha timeline without disturbing the plot of all three seasons too much, its fun to do, really.
Scuse the double-post, but I don't think I'll be able to finish my take on Evil!Vivio today, its too late to carry on writing and I need to get up early tommorow. Sam, I give the honors of posting the first Vivio part to you, I don't want to keep people waiting too long.
My hand drags that locket from my pocket and opens it with a gentle push. Even that I cannot see it here, I know it well enough to imagine it.
”Mothers...” I stop and touch the glass protecting that picture. ”Even if you can't be saved, let me be greedy and save myself.” A tear falls on it and I close the locket before my resolution breaks. ”You have no complains, right, Zafira?” I turn and look at the tall, gray haired man next to me.
”I am your familiar after all.” He answers vaguedly without even looking at me. It's clear he has some but he has given up already on it. He had accepted my dream. I took over fuelling mana to him after Hayate and others died.
I don't answer and begin walking again. I don't know how far we've walked but for some reason that person built this thing here. The walk finally ended and we reached that room.
”I already thought you wouldn't come.” That man smiled in the circular room, waiting for us. ”Although, I knew you couldn't just leave.” He grins like he knew about something. ”Now, let us go to the 1523rd Mirror World and let the Jail of 2361st Mirror World achieve his plans as well.” A laugh full of lunacy fills the room.
Hah. I'm not doing this for you. That just happens to be a side-effect.
”Jail, could you stop laughing. We don't have all day.” Uno calls for the man from the side.
”We have all day. Time doesn't matter for this operation.” He spins around with his arms wide open.
But I can't keep watching you all day.
”Uno is right.” Zafira walks towards the middle.
I follow him and avoid that man with my eyes as much as possible. I had nothing to do with him anymore. I just want that Vivio to be spared from this feeling.
That man grumps as we don't share his enthusiasms and he leaves with loud steps. ”Remembed that in three weeks, we'll need you to act as an anchor again.” The mechanical door closes with a hiss.
Like I was coming back to this dead world. I'll finish this and die away.
”Activating Mirror Revealer.” The room hurrs and fills with lights.
”Let us go, Excalion Assault.” I throw my jewel in the air and it falls back down as my sword.
”Set link: Mirror 852 and Mirror 1523.”
[Yes, mistress.] It answers and loads cartridges.
”Set anchors: Jewel Seed 6 and Vivio Scaglietti.” The room announces.
”Starlight Cut.” I murmur and slice the air with as much magical energy as I can. The world distorts and I feel reality bend around me enough to let us through the mirror.
When I came to, I found myself in a dark warehouse like it was planned.
”Mid-Childa...” I grinned and took my first steps in this path. Nanoha had to die, so she could never meet me and I could be spared from the pain of losing her. ”Zafira...” I call out for the name of my partner.
”I will go through with this with you.” He nods. Or so I think. I cannot see him here.
”Yes.” I answer him and we continue walking this path.

Evil just doesn't fit Vivio
I'm so looking forward to reading more of Vivio's part (and writing parts too) One clarifying question. Is Vivio's part starting before Fate and Nanoha's (timelinewise)?
oh
Because the two hour limit (I forgot about it earlier-_-; ) passed a looooooong time ago I'm reclaiming the next Fate part
I'm so looking forward to reading more of Vivio's part (and writing parts too) One clarifying question. Is Vivio's part starting before Fate and Nanoha's (timelinewise)?
Jail lost in StrikerS but then one of his reincarnations came and kicked everybody's ass and thus he is all happy and snappy in whatever he succeeded in that dimension and starts searching for other challenges. In this case making sure that every other Jail succeedes as well
Vivio in that dimension is really Vivio of that age instead of whatever did it in StrikerS.
s Vivio's part starting before Fate and Nanoha's (timelinewise)?
I'd assume that it has to be, seeing as Jail says that she'll have to act as an anchor again in three weeks. That would mean that she's been chillin in Mid-Childa for a while...

Fate: Claimed (TSS)
Nanoha: Unclaimed
Vivio: Unclaimed (Keroko in the works)
As the Vivio timeline has seemed to be thought out a lot, Please respect other people's posts when you add to it. But don't hesitate to claim a spot. This is a joint fic and everyone has a right to write for whoever they want ^_^
Sadly with school still happening for another week and a half, and finals just over the horizon, I'm screwed until at least until the end of the month, especially since I've been working on my story Riot Force 6. Speaking of which, here's the latest chapter :3
Spoiler for MGLN Riot Force 6:
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Riot Force 6 Chapter VIII Relax
“What a morning,” Hayato sighed, stretching and laying down on one grass patches on base. “Now I’m bored.” He couldn’t help but be bored. When they had got back, Farukon had given the team the day off to rest and recuperate from the mission. After everyone had filled in their report and had lunch, they had all gone off on their own way. Vivio and Syn had decided to see Nanoha and Fate since they were back on base, and Rue had gone off to do her own thing again, somewhere along the lines of training. As for the Belkarangers, they had immediately left when they had disembarked, so he had yet to see them again.
Sighing, he simply stared up at the sky. For a first mission, that had been incredible. There was no other word that could possibly describe the rush. The way the blood rushed through his veins, and the pounding in his ears, it was incredible. There wasn’t another word he could think of to describe it. His body now ached from the mission, but it was somehow satisfying. Maybe it was because he was in combat, or the fact he had just completed his first mission, but in any case, he felt good.
“So what’s a kid like you lying down in the middle of nowhere?” an amused voice asked, pulling Hayato from his train of thought. Leaning into his field of vision, Tesla appeared with an amused expression on her face.
“What! I-that is-I-”
“Relax,” Tesla stated, ceasing his stuttering. “I’m just relaxing as much as you are right now.”
“I see,” said Hayato, getting up so that he was sitting.
“I take it you’re bored out of your mind?” Tesla asked, sitting down next to him.
“I guess,” Hayato replied back, a bit uncomfortable around the girl, considering she was one of the Wolkenritter. “Just trying to pass the time I suppose.”
“I see,” Tesla responded, letting out a contented sigh and lying flat on the grass. “So, how was your mission?”
“It was…incredible,” he answered, still not able to find other words to describe it.
“Incredible?” Tesla repeated, raising an eyebrow. “I suppose in one way it is. The rush of combat, the need to survive, the relief when you can finally just say ‘It’s over’, I guess in some ways it is. But don’t get too comfortable.” Hayato simply gave her a curious look, waiting for her to continue.
“While battles can be incredible, you’ll eventually have to see the darker parts of battles,” she stated in a sagely manner, before getting up. “You’ll eventually be placed into hard situations. But…that’s not going to be for a while.
“Anyways, I’m on duty soon, so I’ll see you later.” Waving, she walked off, heading in the direction of the main office building of the base.
“Okay,” Hayato muttered, somewhat confused as to why Tesla had even approached him in the first place. Simply sighing, Hayato leaned back and lay down on the grass again, staring up at the sky. At least until a flash of red appeared over his head.
“Yo,” Asagi happily greeted. “Thought I’d find you here.”
“Hey,” Hayato greeted, sitting up. “What brings you here?”
“Just thought I’d swing by and check my apprentice,” Asagi calmly replied, plopping down next to him. “That and I’m bored right now. I’ve got nothing better to do!”
“I see,” he commented, glancing over at Asagi. “I suppose I’m also bored.”
“I don’t suppose you know if there’s anything interesting on base that we could do, do you?” Asagi asked, idly twirling a lock of hair.
“Not really,” Hayato replied. “I’m still not familiar with the place.”
“Oh well,” Asagi sighed. “I’m not surprised if there wasn’t much of an actual recreation area. I didn’t exactly design the base to have much.”
“You designed this base?!” Hayato asked, a bit surprised.
“Considering that I’m the president of Colwell Heavy Industries,” she began her replied, albeit her voice seemed to have some great disdain towards her job, before completely changing her attitude, “so naturally they came to me and asked me to help design the base. If oversaw everything, so I’m not surprised there’s nothing here in the ways of fun.
“Maybe I should ask Hayate if I can design something like that,” she suddenly stated as an after thought. The two soon fell into a comfortable silence, content with just staring up at the sky, watching the clouds go by.
“Ne, Hayato, what exactly do you want to do in the military?” Asagi asked, surprising him somewhat before he mulled over the question. He thought on it for some time. He had initially joined the military because his parents were Admirals, and his sister had joined in the Academy. But then as he progressed throughout his Academy days, he began to wonder what he wanted to do. The more he thought about it, the more he realized something.
“I’m not sure,” he answered, letting out a sigh. “I joined because my parents and sister were in the military. But now that you ask…I really don’t know.”
“Well, everyone has their own reasons,” said Asagi. “You’ll find out what you want to do with your life.”
“What about you Colwell-san?” Hayato asked.
“Asagi.”
“Pardon me?”
“Just call me Asagi,” she clarified, turning her head so that she was facing him. “I hate it when people call me by last name. So it’s just Asagi, without the honorific attachments, alright?!”
“Sure, Asagi,” Hayato sighed, smiling somewhat at her outburst. If anything, she seemed to prefer letting her inner child out, instead of acting like an adult. Then again when he thought about, she had yet to show any real signs of acting like a real woman.
“That’s better,” she remarked. “Now what were you asking me?”
“Just wondering what if you know what you want to do with your life,” Hayato replied.
“That’s easy,” she stated. “I want to be able to help deal with finding Precious and sealing them. The universe is full of them. And I plan to find as many Precious as I can and seal them away!”
“Precious?” Hayato asked, a bit confused as to what she was talking about.
“They’re what you call Lost Logia,” Asagi muttered, indicating her disdain of using the term.
“I see…”
“Moving on, I plan to lead my Belkarangers forward as they spearhead through the universe, going on adventures, as we find, seal, and catalogue all the various Precious we gather!”
“Belkarangers…how did that name come about?” Unfortunately that question sealed his doom, as Asagi suddenly donned a rather predatory grin. Springing up, she grabbed Hayato’s wrist and pulled him up.
“Get changed into whatever you’re planning to wear tonight,” Asagi ordered, a wide grin on her face.
“What? Why now?” Hayato stuttered, as he regained his footing.
“Simple: I’m going to show you our passion; The very thing that is the core of the Belkarangers!”
“And what would that be exactly?”
“SUPER SENTAI!!” she exclaimed with the utmost passion as stars gleamed from her eyes. Immediately Hayato knew he was not going to like this. Unfortunately for him by the time the designated meet up time had come up, Hayato had learned much more about Super Sentai than he had ever wanted to know in his life.
After being forced to change out of his uniform and into the set of civvies he had planned to wear, she had promptly taking him to her massive apartment, where she had began to educate him on Super Sentai, starting with the original Gorangers of Earth year 1975, up until today of Earth year 2021. She had hammered into him the never ending fight of good vs. evil, as those who dared to attempt to invade Earth and disturb the peace would find themselves fighting against those who would become their arch nemesis: the Super Sentai.
Unfortunately, that had also resulted in her breaking into a massive speech about all those who had fallen in the battle against their foes, spouting eulogies to honour the brave sacrifices, with one of them named Burai being one of the few she spoke of in great length.
Eventually she moved on and the first series she put in, based on the time they had, and the fact that Hayato was a gun user, was Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. Suffice it to say, despite the fact that the Red Dekaranger Ban was a gunslinger like he was, the amount of enthusiasm was more than enough to bother him. However, it at least did explain where in god’s name she had gotten the idea of making him salute her like that. Unfortunately, she had made it very clear he was to continue this practice of saluting in that manner so long as she instructed in Ban’s Juu Kun Do among other things. At some point Farukon had dropped in on the ‘lecture’ to ascertain where he was, only for him to immediately cut the connection after he had told Farukon he was with Asagi; whether it was Farukon’s idea of a cruel joke or not, Hayato never actually found out.
“I can see why Farukon’s afraid of you guys,” Hayato remarked, as they left Asagi’s apartment building and began making their way towards Mount Fuji’s. “You three must be really passionate about if you’re taking so many ideas from those shows.”
“You have no idea,” Asagi gleefully exclaimed, walking circles around Hayato as they walked.
“So what’s next, you’re going to make me perform those transformations or something?” Hayato muttered, knowing that he was already in over his head, and that there was little to no chance of him getting out of his present situation at all.
“Not likely,” Asagi replied. “You’re with Hammer, and I don’t think Hayate would let me steal you at all.” Hayato had to let a sigh of relief.
“Good,” Hayato mumbled. “I don’t think I could live that down.”
“I don’t know,” Asagi commented thoughtfully. “You just really need a bit of a tune-up with your personality really. You look perfect to be Ban actually.”
“You mind?!” he exclaimed in horror. “Don’t mix me with them! I’m nowhere near as eccentric as him!”
“True…you aren’t exactly as big on being a law enforcement as he…I suppose you could be like Sen-chan,” she conceded, lightly tapping her chin thoughtfully.
“But…I don’t think upside-down though…” Hayato responded, starting to feel an eyebrow twitch. “Do I have to spell it out for you? I’m not like them!”
“Don’t worry about it,” Asagi happily declared, patting him on the back. “It’s not like you’re joining us or anything.”
“I’d rather like to keep it that way,” Hayato sighed, burying his face into the palm of his hand.
“You’re not any fun, you know that?” Asagi pointedly said, letting out a rather bored sigh. “No on seems to appreciate Super Sentai anymore,” she added as an afterthought.
Hayato groaned even more. Although Asagi was a nice girl, she was somewhat overly eccentric. Her passion of Super Sentai may, or may not explain why she didn’t have a boyfriend, but if anything, she just wasn’t interested in one. If anything, however, she was already for all intents and purposes married; married to the fandom that was Super Sentai, if her room filled with Super Sentai was any indication. He was willing to bet any poor soul who tried to date her would only end up suffering and try to end the relationship the moment they learned of her rather unique obsession.
“How much further?” Hayato asked, as Asagi led them through the city.
“Not much,” she answered. “It’s actually quite close to your base.”
“I see,” he commented. “So…I guess Mount Fuji’s your favourite place to hang out?”
“The only place,” she answered, placing a heavy emphasis on being the only place. “It’s the only place around here that will serve a wide array of food!”
“Wide array?”
“Yes,” she heartedly replied. “They serve food from all over the universe! Such as American Hot Wings and Vietnamese Pho from Earth, Graf Struluth Meat Pie from Alocnos, and Klingon Gah from Cronos, among other dishes. Although…Gah’s hard to come by these days…”
“What exactly IS Gah?” Hayato asked.
“Spicy Spaghetti,” she answered in which Hayato gave her a rather surprised look. “What, did you expect it to be somewhere long the lines of live worms?! That’s disgusting!”
“Definitely,” Hayato agreed, shuddering at the thought of such.
“And we’re here!” she declared, indicating towards the building in front of them.
Hayato couldn’t help but whistle. It looked like a well established place. On the front was a massive neon sign. Forming the background, a bright blue mountain gleamed in the light, while scrawled across it in bright red and white neon read, “Mount Fuji’s”. Inside loud music blared through the walls that Hayato could hear it, although to him it was just loud booming from the bass. At the doors, Hayato watched as bouncers at the front of the door regulated the traffic going into the establishment.
“Is this a bar?” Hayato asked, pointing at the building.
“It’s actually a nightclub,” she replied, walking towards the door. “But yeah, they do serve alcohol and the like here.”
“I see,” he replied pulling out his military ID, only for Asagi to stop him. Giving her a pointed look, he silently asked her why she stopped him, only for her to wink at him, and approach the bouncer.
“He’s with me,” Asagi said to the bouncer flashing her ID, receiving a nod from him, who also opened the door for her. “By the way, have Julie, Mayura and her family arrived yet?”
“Yeah, they’re here,” the bouncer replied answered. “Came with another one of our regulars, Farukon.”
“Thanks,” Asagi replied, waving for Hayato to follow her in. Loud music immediately greeted his ears as he walked through the door. Inside, the dance floor was full of people as they danced to upbeat music that blared. From what he could tell, it was presently blaring in Mid-Childan, but the structure seemed a little off to him.
“Look at ‘em go!” Asagi called out, drawing Hayato’s attention towards a couple she was pointing at. To his surprise, standing in the middle of a circle was Mayura dancing with someone. Apparently to those around, and Asagi, they were quite good. Being one who had never to these sorts of establishments, he wasn’t sure what to expect. He watched as they moved and sway to the rhythm of the song. Beat for beat, they moved.
What surprised him most, however, was how Mayura was dancing so well with the man. If anything, she had known the man for some time if her movements were well coordinated with him like such. Watching them further, he couldn’t help blush. For all their movement, it all seemed to have something constant.
“What are they doing?” Hayato asked quietly.
“Grinding,” she simply answered. The word suited what they were doing. Their hips were constantly grinding against one another, as their hands roamed their bodies. He could even see the blush on their faces, even though they knew they were dancing in public.
“Wha-what?” he stuttered, as Asagi guided his arms and placed them around her. Hayato felt his face started to burn red hot as she began to dance to the beat of the song, as her hips swayed in an erotic manner. Even as one as young as he, he knew that he couldn’t physical restrain such provocation.
“Relax kid,” Asagi assured, winking. “Just move to the beat, and my movements. Just don’t touch anything.”
“S-sure,” he huffed, trying to keep himself calm. However, her movements only made it worse as she continued to dance, her moves becoming more upbeat and wild.
“Sh-sh-shouldn’t we find the others?” he asked, trying desperately to get himself out of this rather embarrassing set up.
“Julie’s already got it covered,” Asagi answered. “Besides, me and Mayura always do this.
“Now, relax, and have fun. You’re here to celebrate your first successful mission.”
“But-” he protested, only to have a finger placed on his lips.
“No more talking,” she simply said, slowing down her movements. “Just relax, and don’t think about the people here. Just think that we’re alone, and we’re just trying to have fun. Okay?”
“Yeah…I’ll try.”
“Good,” she beamed. “Now, just move to the beat of the song. Everything else will come as you have a little more confidence.” Hayato weakly nodded. Following her lead, he moved. It was somewhat awkward for him, but as the song continued, it started to feel more natural. At least Asagi seemed to be enjoying herself, having kept her movements to a minimum.
However, much to his embarrassment, as his confidence grew, so did her movements. By the second song, her she had resumed her natural movements. He couldn’t help but blush as he felt her hips grind along his, as her hands constantly roamed along his back and arms. Despite the fact he was also doing it to some degree, he couldn’t help but blush. Here he was, in the arms of someone older than him, grinding in the middle of a dance floor.
As the music continued to blare, her movements never ceased. Although never crossing certain lines, she continued to dance, always pressed against him. But as time went on, he found that he was actually enjoying it. It was true: they were here to have fun. He had better make the best of it.
“There you go,” Asagi commented. “Just relax.” As the music went on, so did their dance. As their hips swayed, their hands roamed. Blood rushed through them as the beat pulsed. It was them, and the music. They were in their own little world, as two friends, dancing away to the beat of the night. Some borders were never crossed, but it didn’t mean that Asagi tried to cross them. Her hands from time to time trailed his waist, threatening to cross to lower grounds. There were cases Hayato swore she tried to guide his hands to certain parts of her body, only to redirect them to safer places.
They danced and danced, as they continued on. Hayato knew he was being turned on by this, and he was sure that she was as well. As her hips swayed along his, he felt his pants becoming increasingly tighter by the second. His heart felt like it was caught in his throat, like he couldn’t breathe. Despite she was a friend; the whole experience was becoming incredibly erotic for him.
Asagi inwardly smiled. He might’ve been completely new to the whole idea of grinding, but she was thoroughly enjoying the dance. There was just something about the boy that she found amusing. Perhaps it was his naivety, or the fact he was young, but nonetheless, she found him interesting. If anything, he seemed to act like the kid brother she never had. Nonetheless, he was a lot of fun. She could feel it against her hip, especially with the fact he was pressed up against her in more ways than one.
By the time they got off the dance floor, the two of them were covered in sweat, tired, and hungry.
“Now wasn’t that fun?” Asagi teased, elbowing Hayato hard on the ribs.
“I suppose it was,” he laughed, rubbing his ribs. “So where are the others?”
“Upstairs,” she answered, leading him up a staircase. At the top, Hayato saw that this was most likely the dining area with sections that overlooked the dance floor. Following Asagi, he eventually found the group hanging around one of the tables furthest away from all the lights and music.
“Yo!” Asagi happily greeted them.
“You two had fun,” Farukon smirked, leaning back against his chair as he downed the last of his drink. Asagi simply smiled widely at the remark. Hayato on the other hand felt his face burn up. They had seen them dance. They had seen him grind with Asagi. And judging on the wide smirk on Syn’s face, he was not going to live this down. Not by a long shot.
“I didn’t know you were into little boys,” Mayura mocked, which only earned a playful slap to the head.
“Can’t I have a little fun?” she shot back, wrapping a friendly arm around Hayato. “Besides, it’s just a dance between friends; unlike you and your bloody husband!” The comment had immediately sent Mayura face into a world of redness, to which she responded by burying her face into the chest of the man who sat next to her.
Taking a moment to look at him, Hayato was somewhat surprised at the way he looked. Dressed in casual clothing, he looked rather thin. He had thick black hair that reached down to his shoulders, brown eyes, and a decent tan. Based on his appearance, Hayato surmised that he wasn’t that much older than the Belkarangers, at most being in his late twenties. As their eyes came into contact, Hayato suddenly felt himself involuntarily shudder. In that moment, he swore that the guy’s turned red, almost as if threatening him not to hurt Mayura.
“I take it you’ve introduced them to everyone else?” Asagi asked, now using Hayato as an armrest of sorts, propping her elbow on his shoulder.
“Yeah, she already did,” Farukon answered.
“Hayato-san, this is my husband, Nogami Ryoutaro,” said Mayura, indicating the towards the man who sat next to her, before indicating towards the five identical silver-haired girls sitting with Julie, who seemed to be in a deep conversation with them. “And they’re my daughter, Epsila.”
“Daughter?” Hayato asked, wondering if he heard her correctly. “But…there are five girls.”
“It’s a long story,” Asagi said, sitting down in one of the empty chairs, leaning back and propping her feet. “In short, she’s a registered and catalogued Precious. Her history basically was that she was one of many children in a messed up experiment several centuries ago before being put to sleep. Her case, she was originally one person, but somehow they ended up splitting her into five major emotions: Anger, Fear, Happy, Sad, and Curious. Then any other complex emotions are a combination of the five. Consciously, she’s spread out amongst the five, so she’s aware of what all five are doing.
“Anyways, she was put to sleep way back when, and then woke up a few years back. She was found by some treasure hunting bums who saw no value for her, so she was put into slavery. We ran into her when we busted her ‘Master’s’ operation on trying to get this Precious that had been buried in a desert. When we raided that place, Mayura was the first to find her. In short, for being the first kind person to Epsila, she imprinted her as her mother.
“Don’t really know exactly about her history, except what I just told you. Don’t think she’d want to remember.”
“I don’t think I’d want her to remember,” Mayura commented, pulling one of the five onto her lap. Hayato watched as the girl immediately curled up in Mayura’s lap, clinging onto her.
“You seemed to have made quite an impression if she’s having one of her bodies clinging onto you like that,” Farukon commented towards Mayura, leaning back again. “I’ve heard about her. It’s also quite difficult for people unfamiliar with how she communicates, and which emotion the five represent.”
“What do you mean?” Rue asked.
“I’ll show you,” Farukon answered, looking at the girl in Mayura’s lap. “Hey Epsila, how you doing today?”
“I’m fine, thank you,” she answered, but not from the girl on Mayura’s lap. Turning their heads, almost everyone looked over at one of the other four girls who were still with Julie, with one of them looking over at Farukon. Glancing between the two of them, some realized the difference between the two. The one who had answered had pink eyes, while the one whom Farukon had addressed to had green eyes.
“Well, it seems that Pink Five’s doing the talking tonight,” Asagi commented, before waving over for some menus.
“Wait…what just happened?” Syn asked confused as to what happened.
“She’s in a good mood,” Mayura answered, pulling the girl on her lap closer to hear. “She’s happy about me coming home, so the little one over there’s talking. This girl here is whom Asagi calls Green Two. She carries the emotion of Fear.”
“It’s only natural,” Farukon commented. “She’s not feeling afraid, but she is afraid of the fact of losing you. I’m guessing this is a common occurrence?”
Mayura nodded in response. “She basically personifies her fears about being alone again. If I’m not doing something, she’ll hold on to me.”
“It is really cute to see,” Asagi commented, propping her chin on her hand.
“She just loves you a lot,” Ryoutaro pointed out, pulling Mayura and Epsila closer.
“She sure does,” Asagi stated.
Syn sighed as she listened to everyone talk about Epsila. Granted that the kid was cute and she had a tragic past, she was a little bored, especially since Vivio seemed to be engrossed in the conversation, now occasionally say something about the girl. Glancing over at Hayato, she noticed that he seemed to be silent, with a somewhat far off expression on his face. She sighed to herself, figuring that talking to him was better than nothing.
“What’s with the long face, gunny?” Syn asked, yanking Hayato from his line of thought.
“Gunny?” he repeated, raising a confused eyebrow at the sudden nickname he gave him.
“Yeah that’s right,” she replied back with an amused smirk on her face. “You use guns, so why not?”
“I see,” Hayato replied, not sure what to make of Syn’s behaviour.
“Ah whatever,” she sighed. “You’re boring anyways.” Simply choosing to ignore him, she turned her attention back on Vivio and tried to start a conversation with the girl. The only one whom he noticed she wasn’t snide or rude towards.
“So,” Asagi began, hooking her arm around Hayato’s shoulder with a wide grin on her forehead, “what you think of this place?”
“It’s not bad,” he answered back, accepting the menu that was handed to him and leafed through the selection. “Interesting music.”
“Wait until you taste the food,” she happily stated. “It’s the best!”
“I’ll take your word for it,” Hayato simply replied.
Time passed by quickly for the group, as they chatted amongst each other. They ordered food, which varied from person to person, all of the dishes varying from different cultures. In short, however, the food was quite good to Hayato’s surprise, as he dug into the Vietnamese beef pho he had decided to order.
“Oh yeah before I forget,” Asagi suddenly blurted while in the middle of eating her hot wings. “Hayate-san said that she’d like us to train with you guys regularly for the next couple of weeks.” That resulted in Farukon and Syn immediately spitting out their drinks, coating the unfortunate Asagi in a mixture of beer and soda.
“WHAT?!” they all but screamed, glaring at her as if she had grown a second head.
“WHAT IS THIS?!” Syn cried out, gnashing her teeth and wanting to pull her hair out. “HAVEN’T WE SUFFERED ENOUGH ALREADY?! WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS?! WHAT?!!”
“Good question Syn…good question…” Farukon groaned, rubbing his forehead. “Well…if you’re going to be around…I suppose I’ll have to make due…although…” his face lit up suddenly as an idea came to mind. “How often can you come?”
“Whenever SGS isn’t called out for anything,” Asagi answered, picking up a few napkins and began wiping herself off.
“If anything, Ryoutaro can assist,” Mayura added, quietly leaning against her husband, with the Green Two Epsila sitting on her lap, resting comfortably against her.
“Him?” Syn asked incredulously, pointing an accusing finger at him. “What can He do for us?”
“Oi,” Ryoutaro muttered, glaring at her. “Watch what your saying girl; otherwise I’ll train you from start to finish at a climax!” Mayura couldn’t help but giggle at that, especially since he was paraphrasing one of the characters from her favourite series.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” Syn muttered, waving him off dismissively. Unbeknownst to her, Asagi and Mayura shared a knowing smile, which was caught by everyone. In short, they feared that she may have set off the wrong person.
“Well,” Farukon sighed, as he picked up his fork to go back to his food. “I don’t mind actually if you conduct my team’s training yourselves, but if I say that I run the session, no questions asked, alright?”
“We’ve got no problem,” Asagi shrugged. “That was part of the agreement.”
“As long as we understand that,” said Farukon, letting out a sigh and went back to his food.
“I’m glad we do,” said Asagi letting a wide grin form on her face.
The rest of the evening had passed by well. Asagi had managed to pull Hayato back on the dance floor for some additional dancing. Of course, by now he was more confident in it, and had a blast. Mayura and Ryoutaro also managed to get Syn and Vivio on the dance floor, much to the formers chagrin, but she eventually found herself having a blast as well.
By the time 2300 hours rolled around, Farukon had dragged his team out of the building so that they could go to bed. Unfortunately, he was not going to be lenient on their schedule, which meant that they were still required to be up for 0600 hour practice, much to everyone’s displeasure.
“That’s what you get for partying too long on a work night,” was Farukon’s response when they had arrived on base 15 minutes past the hour.
Flopping onto their beds, all four of Hammer had one thought as they went to bed: “That was fun.”

Wonder why Hayate is torturing them. O well nice chapter.
“Is something wrong Zafira?” It was best to be direct; Zafira had a tendency to take things literally.
He hesitated and looked away, “It’s about Vivio.” He nodded his head towards the coffee table. It was clear except for a single piece of paper folded up in a neat square. Fate headed over, dread clutching at her heart. However, when she unfolded the paper the dread was replaced by confusion.
“I don’t understand,” the picture was just one of Vivio’s crayon ones. Fate didn’t understand why Zafira looked so worried; Vivio drew dozens of pictures of him everyday. It was odd that Vivio had given him an eye patch but she was a little girl with an active imagination she’d probably just seen someone with one at the base and thought it was cool.
“She drew that this morning,” his gaze was distant, his mind somewhere else. “She said she saw him last night.” He turned to Fate, his focus back. “She called him ‘other Zaffy’.”
Fate dropped the picture, it fluttered to the ground. “Couldn’t she have just seen you last night and mistaken you for…”
Zafira shook his head, “I haven’t been in that form in a week. She saw someone who looks me.”
Fate’s mind reeled. She stumbled over to the couch and sat down. It made sense why wouldn’t someone else be able to cross over. This Zafira couldn’t be from little Nanoha’s world though, Nanoha would have commented when she saw Zafira had both eyes. So the questions were: where was he from and more pressingly,
why was he stalking her daughter?
Zafira left, presumably to check up on Vivio, leaving Fate alone with her thoughts. If the picture was real it proved a few more things too, there were more worlds then just little Nanoha’s and hers and they weren’t all the same. Fate sighed, she needed Nanoha, she couldn’t handle everything alone.
“Fate!” Zafira’s growling yell jolted Fate from her stupor.
Fate jumped up and ran into the kitchen. Vivio still sat in her chair, with a confused and concerned look on her face. Zafira stood off to the side, an emotion resembling fear etched on his face, an emotion he never showed, as he stared at Vivio’s latest drawing. Fate gasped when she saw it.
“Why… why did she draw…” Nanoha looked to Fate for clarification but Fate couldn’t answer. She didn’t understand either; in all logic Vivio should have never seen them.
“What’s wrong?” Vivio looked at the three of them frantically, “it was what I saw!”
“Where?” Zafira didn’t look up.
“There when we colored.” She pointed to the kitchen window. “What’s wrong?” She repeated.
Nanoha still looked up at Fate as if Fate would give her an answer. Fate tried to ignore the pleading eyes and picked up the sheet of paper. On it were two figures, granted they were wobbly and drawn by a six year old but they were eerily similar the Lieze twins. Or at least masked disguises they had worn ten years ago.
“Zafira.” A low growl was her reply. That was all Fate needed to hear. She headed towards the door, her barrier jacket and Baridiche forming as she did.
“Where are you going?” Nanoha called after her.
Fate paused; she didn’t turn as she spoke. “Stay here. I’ll only be a minute.”
“Baridiche scan the area for life forms.”
Four unique signals located, her device’s reply was the same as it had been the last five times she asked it. Whoever they had been they were long gone. Fate ran a hand through her hair. Any deniability was gone. Someone was watching them.
“That was too close Vivio,” with a single motion Zafira removed his mask, his lanky disguise melting away, giving way to a muscular frame even stronger then the one he’d had all those years ago. They had hidden out of view until Fate disappeared back into her home, now the reappeared and started to move away, traveling across the roof tops.
Vivio nodded and removed her own mask. “At least we were wearing these.” She twirled it around in her hands, Zafira knew she hated it; she hated everything that man had given her. Zafira would have hated him too but there was no room in his heart for that emotion anymore. “Unlike last night,” a smirk crossed her face for a second before it gave way to her blank expression.
“I apologize. I forgot you used to smile,” he paused in his stride but continued immediately.
“I smile,” she sounded indignant as indignant as she could. “You just don’t see it.”
“Vivio,” Zafira chuckled softly, it was hollow but the closest either of them could get to the real thing.
“Let’s go back to the hotel.” She jumped down from the roof startling people on the ground, not that she cared. Zafira followed her. “We can’t do anything more right now.”
Spoiler for technical notes:
Baridiche can't sense Alt. Zafira and Vivio because Fate asked for unique life forms and Baridiche can't differentiate between different versions (he just thinks they happened to be in two different places at once) its a really technical thing but the plot demanded it! Also I know the last part verges on being Vivio's storyline but since it's in Alt. Zafira's point of view I kept it in

Wow that was a progress in plot that I didn't expect ... even though I sorta read all the planning of it ^^'' lol
It's not often we get to Zaffy doing stuff in fics, so I thought it was really refreshing seeing him with more screen time. And I like the Zaffy and Vivio intereactions like that ... reminds me a little of Lutecia and Zest(? ... oh dear I've forgotten his name) but Zafira's cooler. .... so this is 3 worlds/dimensions being linked to it now?
Location: The bushes are comfy, thanks for asking.

It was that dark hallway again.
Spoiler for Soz:
Evil just doesn't fit Vivio
*nods head, eyes wide*
At first I thought, "What the heck is he doing? Evil Vivio with decent intentions?
Then I read the last part, and saw the twisted, confused, psychotic part of her psyche.
