Dogtato-kun

...oh my. That was brilliant!

Thank you very much Triad, you made my day with that.

If only I were as beautiful as Dogtato-kun...

Yup. But then again, Hanaukyou Maid Tai is made for adults, and I'd say it was more juvenile than Dogtato-kun.

Besides, none of the maids are as beautiful as Hedgetato-chan and Dogtato-kun.

(yes, I am taking the piss, but it's just so random and bizarre that it made me laugh non-stop throughout. More please!)

I'm sad to say that I hated this anime. For the first time ever, I am going to give an anime the boneyjellyfish stamp of disapproval(tm).

I'm just doing it because it's 3 minutes long, the characters are hilarious and because I'm too lazy to do anything longer than 3 minutes.

LOL!!! you can add barney and the tellatubies to that list to. I do however like dogtato though. For some reason it reminded me of the fact that I would like to see more Doreamon episodes. It's only like 5 minutes an episode anyway I can handle that without getting bored.

Aaaargh! What happened to my previous post about Dogtato-kun? Or did I just imagine it? Anyway, I think I'll watch a few more before I make up my mind, but it doesn't seem to be oriented towards a very young audience, I mean what does the typical 3 year old know or care about being in love and going on dates?

I *LOVED* watching Di Gi Charat, I even liked Di Gi Chart Nyo. I did NOT like Dogtato.

If this is becomes R1 licensed, the distributor could make a fortune selling it to Head Shops. For sale to those customers that were interested in messing with their minds but preferred not to do drugs.

boney: fair enough ^_^

i personally love randomness more than anything.. i am one of those suckers that thinks everything san-x makes it hilarious and likes buying it. thus, i thought dogtato was incredibly wacky and loved it.

Hehe, I can never eat potatoes again. Or maybe I should eat a ton...I thought the show was cute in a bizarre way. My rationale for watching these short shows is that they're short anyway but when I add up all the short shows I watch its like a regular show...Yeah go logic!

Nice to hear a little banjo music, it's not very common in anime. I like the show's whimsicality, it had a nice mood like Ocha-Ken's. I will be sure and show this to my nieces and let them decide if it's any good.

Dogtato-kun clearly is the best show of the new season, bar none. Can't wait for the second episode

Angry

I, for one, am worried about the bad influence this show could have on little children. First, in the beginning, dogtato irresponsibly rolls down a hill and harms an innocent bystander. When asked why he rolled when he could have safely walked, he says that he had only one reason - to go faster. He is only convinced to walk when he's told that his looks are better when he walks. After this, he simply smiles and proceeds to hit on girls (who he'll probably abuse in later episodes). While this kind of shallow, hedonistic anti-hero would be acceptable in a series for more mature watchers, I feel that showing this to children under 15 years of age is very dangerous.
