Hmm these tracks are good but idk..somehow OST or just instrument musics don't really stick with me even if it's good.
Anyway I hope the anime will be better than the manga. I got bored with the recent arc. I like Medaka characterization tho.

That can't be true. Especially because this is late night anime. It's probably a mistake on their part, wouldn't be the first time.

Well here I am crossing my fingers that it's true as 45 episodes is more than enough for them to get through the flask plan arc and get to the Kumagawa.

Though yeah late night anime doesn't say long running series to me.

Or better yet, be it a 2-3 split cour show. Very few late-night animes has more than just 26 episodes.

Holy shit, is this for real? At the very least, various Japanese sites do seem to be reporting it. Awesome news if true.

Nishio himself is doing the composition for this series, I have no fucking worries about the writing. Now the only thing left to hope for is that GAINAX can actually deliver 45 episodes worth of competent direction and animation.

It's an long manga serialized in Jump, 45 episodes isn't much of a surprise.

Yeah honestly it's Jump and the manga is pretty long. I mean I would be surprise if they make it short but with 45 ep, they'll have to make it good.

Gainax and 45 episodes? I think that they've nevr done something more than 27 epsiodes, and most of they're works were collaborations.

He still has the AoEx movie, so his peak should still hold strong for a little longer. Afterwards I'm hoping he'll get another big project to strut his stuff with and hopefully work with some new styles while he's at it. Same goes for Katou. I'm already drooling at the thought of hearing Horizon 2's music.

But who knows? Maybe that 45 episodes thing'll prove to be true, or at least somewhat true and we will be to hear the as of now non-existent Kumagawa arc score?

Only http://time.animemap.net/title/めだかボックス/ claims it's 45 episodes. No other Japanese site has episode listings

Yeah, I was talking random Japanese blogs and stuff. I ran a quick google search to see whether the source was being reported and discussed as if it were actually legitimate, and there were quite a number of discussion results.
