There's a follow up article and update in the quoted post if anyone's interested (going to be done by Production I.G., aired on NHK General, which hasn't air anything anime related since 06, and scheduled for 10 episodes).

I thought it's just going to be moe stuff too, now I'll actually watch it.

I added the books in discussion if anyone wants to read it for whatever reason @__@.

Haha probably.

Though this book's pretty popular, sold over 1,300k copies (going by the article number, not website) already for just one volume. For comparison Index + Railgun together just hit 15 million cumulative sales with all those volumes a few/two(?) days ago. This also topped the ebook chart for May when went on sale through the iPhone App on 4/28.

If it's Production I.G., the ticket for a full audition is stamped no matter the subject matter AFAIC. And this sort of sounds like an interesting premise for me.

Hmm... fifth volume of the light novel series "Mayo Chiki!" gets released on October 25th, the first volume of its manga adaptation gets released on October 23rd, and the important announcement appears in "Comic Alive" on October 27th... Hmm... doesn't this feel like the announcement will turn out to be an anime adaptation...
