Precious Friends, the Wataten! movie, is scheduled for release on October 14, 2022. The original series followed Miyako Hoshino, a withdrawn and shy post-secondary student, as she gets closer to Hana Shirosaki, one of her younger sister's friends, and in the process, comes to expand her social circle.
