Summer Days is a alternate universe prequel to School Days, which does star Setsuna (girl with ribbons) as the main character.

If my memory doesn't fail me, isn't it Kotonoha that makes Makoto say it? Sure Makoto is a wimp that does anything to get to have sex, but it's really Kotonoha who's the bad one there.

Actually I think that Kotonoha is worse than Makoto most of the time.

well i have to cut him in some slack at least for the first ep as i have not played the game. I give him the benefit of the doubt because if Sekai does not kiss him at the station none of this would have happend (then we would not have a story) but the girls also have to bear some of the blame because they know what is going on there not stupid it takes two to tango in this case there is three but he is not the only one. If they don't throw themselves agianst him every single second he does not do many of those things

Considering the comments, i would hardly see the cause from Sekai's kiss.
Basically, Makoto has the choice, and don't really seem to be decent enough to make up his mind. (while, OTOH, Takayuki of KGNE has some benefit of the doubt, considering the peculiar situation, which is hardly helped)

if he will be animated as he is in the "game", i think it is easy to say that he will be the most hated character in this anime season (or even history )

of course, there isn't anything to complain about him in ep1, except maybe his... "little impulse" with sekai. (i was thinking like " oi oi... wth you are doing, emo-ko ?")

we will see later on. if SD keeps this pace, it will probably be triggered around ep3-4. i just hope they won't drag drama along like 10 episodes, or it will be hard to bear XD

i just hope the "melo"drama to not be dragged too long. (i mean, staying on a girl being completely destroyed for 3 episodes or more, than tango ! rince and repeat).

i of course expecting full drama from the beggining to the end, hoping it won't be an horrible trainwreck as you were describing to me in PM a while back
