They also said at the end of S1 that "Zero" and Suzaku would never work together again. They have a history of playing word games with the fans so I don't see why this couldn't be another one. For the intents and purposes Lelouch Lamperouge/VI Brittania is dead. The world believes so and the actual person would certainly go by a completely different name if he was still alive. Adopting a similar moniker like C.C? L.L probably?

One should keep in mind that Fukuda is a director who tended to pan to his show-viewer's desires and requests. Okouchi is a writer who does not pan to such requests. I don't think we need to worry about it all that much.

They did give Jeremiah an important role due to fan response, same with Sayoko having ninja powers. |

I've seen no proof, and when I said the same thing, others told me that there hasn't been any proof on the matter. As for Sayoko, I do remember hearing that Sayoko's diaries already mentioned her status as a ninja.

Also from what I heard the Sayoko thing was added early after several people wondered if she was a ninja based off of Mai Hime. |

And the guide doesn't have to be technically wrong and would still be useful. The website listed Nunnally as dead because they didn't want to make it obvious she was alive by keeping her alive/missing on it. Here they could be doing the same thing. In the end I chose to believe Lelouch is still alive with such an ending. The director and writer could have made it a 100 percent clear on screen that he was dead and no coming back but they gave us hope in the end even if that wasn't their intention. All the interviews for the next 20 years won't change my mind on that.

Nunnaly proved that the website can not be trusted, and if Lelouch is revealed to be alive, than the guide to put it bluntly isn't worth the paper its printed on. |

Honestly I was fairly certain Nunnally was still alive even after seeing that chart. I think and reason for myself. I didn't need a chart to tell me that Nunnally death scene was suspect. It was clearly shown as such just many fans honestly don't think outside the box.

Thank you, you just cleared up the mystery of this character survival. About the last PD, I'll say that the most logical thing should be a meeting between the remaining protagonists, those who know the truth. In front of Lulu grave maybe. Now I don't think they could bring Lelouch back in a PD, in a new serie, possible, but in a PD it's very unlikely. Now something bad can always happen but well...let's trust Okouchi -_-

How many minutes a standarts PD last? there's room for both glimpse of the minor characters that didn't get a proper closure and to tell us something more crucial... like .. say, Karen and Suzaku talking to each other. I hope we get something like this. and there was my rational part speaking. The irrational part says it wishes so much for Suzaku and Tohdoh to talk to each other again, but I know it won't happen and there are more important things to deal with anyway... but still... And about Lelouch being dead... I still like the idea of ImmortalLelouch for fanfiction, personal pseudocanon and such, but if they pull out something like this after bothering to tell us that he's dead in any possible way, well I'll be quite pissed at them. è_é! @Tokkan: I guess you are right about Jeremiah, I got the same version: the staff saved him because they like him, not the fanbase. |

which is the reason people aren't subbing it. Although the one about Cecile past sounds interesting but I'm not really looking forward in seeing a bunch of "dead" characters at a casino party in the next one. Th picture drama usually last 3 to 5 minutes given the context of the material the longest I believe was Turn 0.56 which was the second picture drama for R2 which lasted for 5 minutes and 51 seconds (almost 6 minutes). I wouldn't mind Todoh talking to him since he knows he's Zero considering they haven't seen eye to eye in all their confrontations but of course i don't intend it to go on for more than 10 seconds. Five minutes is more than enough to make something intelligent if you want too.
The fact is that there would be a lot of things to say about everyone... I'll be curious to know what happened to Nina and Sayoko, I'd be curious to see Villetta's baby, and to know a few more things about Anya and her recovery of memory, not to mention knowing wich kind of Britannia Nunnaly is leading and wich role her siblings have in it, if it's still an absolute monarchy or not..... but this is too much to be told in just five minutes. If they have just one picture drama left - put in it something important, at least, and well done - and not a bunch of side stories all piled one over another, because if it has to be so, I prefer to go with pseudocanon and never know anything from them. About Tohdoh and Suzaku, it was more a joke on my side. I know it's something just me and few others would care about, and considering the relevance the writer decided to give to both characters in R2, that's quite unlikely.. so I do not expect it to happen at all. ^^; If someone is to talk with Zerozaku, the reasonable thing that would follow in the line the whole show has held, it has to be Karen. Nunnaly, eventually, but Karen suits that role better... About Jeremiah... the knighthood thing is IC for him according to the maniacal devotion he has to Marianne, but yeah, the Geass Canceller is highly wasted plot device. |

PD9 sounds scary. I don't want to see "Lelouch is the cartman.", "Lelouch is alive." too. Let the dead stay dead. I wouldn't mind if he is watching the world from the World of C though. Please stay dead physically .
How about the interaction between Suzaku and C.C.? They are the 'sword' and the 'shield' who stayed with Lelouch towards the end. They could confide with each other.

The funny thing is, we never see Jeremiah die, not even in season one, so the decision to save his life had to be made with plenty of time.
They even bothered to show him eject after Kallen blew up his mecha and then showed him being picked up by the Code R scientists, so it was not a huge surprise that he would return later. Nobody was tricked, unless they weren't paying attention. Even at the end of R1, the only thing we see is him and C.C. going down into the ocean, nothing else, not really a confirmed kill for either of them (a cyborg and an immortal witch). |
