Indeed, we skipped the entire character development from transforming from a nobody to a somebody, from a boy to a man. Hopefully we get some flashback to help us understand how he became who he is now. I usually don't mind the hero's journey, as it is so prevalent in any story, but the whole every protagonist is bad with girls is sometimes annoying.

We don't know that at all. We have absolutely no idea how he was before he ended up in the world. Was he probably different than he was today? Maybe, his 5 year adventure in that other world definitely must have had some effect. But it's the same thing with assuming about the other characters and the worlds they ended up in or what they did there. We have no way of knowing this until the show shows it to us. Maybe he's always been a strong character just now he has a special ability he can use to go along with it.

Also an MC like him? Kaze no Stigma MC is pretty close.

Don't really see many MC's like him outside of LN/Manga, hardly any animes have ones like him.
Kaze no Stigma anime was a letdown, everything felt so watered down and too happy-go-lucky after like the first 5 episodes to be a good representation of the LN.

When I think similar to Akatsuki, I think Kamito from Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance but a bit more perverted

For every Kaze no Stigma MC, there's are 10 Shu's or Saito's.

Anyway, I can see why quite alot are hailing him as a Younger Jack Rakan.

If he didn't insist on being a dick, he wouldn't be having any trouble. I have a hard time feeling sympathy for a bully. It's not impossible (some well-written stories have managed to pull it off) but it takes some work, and I haven't seen anything about that guy that makes me inclined to care whether he gets beaten up or just thrown from the roof of the tower of Babel.

oh red hair bully as usual Akatsuki rid of the red bully.
shorty class rep being hmm by big green do something about DECADE Akatsuki.
give shorty being pressure a lot so Akatsuki doing his way help shorty.
while miu & the lesbian sneak check while the lesbian want play miu.
after some talk all good give Akatsuki & shorty go huh with miu & the lesbian.
student council members meet with big green wonder to do?
here class ice pres guy give he handle it all give big green all shock take it a yes.
meanwhile bit "something hmm" & oh training time with 3 wet girls do own train.
Akatsuki vs red hair bully equal Akatsuki with one band still own you.
then here come wild out of control CHICKEN MONSTER.
with attack make people goes "rocky" then 3 wet girls attack but nope.
shorty & the lesbian block save for miu with got "rocky".
give miu know what happen if "rocky" breaks tried to defend.
here come DECADE aka Akatsuki to rescue with his summon BIG SWORD.

next ep yea everyone will fine & no longer "rocky" cause here come super Akatsuki.

Which is why i said almost. At its current level its just amusing. Akatsuki is doing a good job of killing his pride. He completely ignored the guy's fire and walked out like a boss, and then made him faint without even actually cutting him.

Well it looks like Class Rep knows Akatsuki better now. I liked seeing her turn back to smile at him as the girls were walking off. Miu as well has a decent opinion of him judging by her reaction as soon as he showed up to save the day. The only one left is Chikage, well she might be a little tougher to crack.

Akatsuki is pretty ridiculous when it comes to strength though, his punch did the same effect as Miu's charged up magic blast. Funniest scene for me though was when Akatsuki showed back up at the lunch counter and the only thing left was the same thing Miu gave him for breakfast.

How old is the class rep if her age would put her in the elementary school section? I didn't expect her to be THAT much younger than the rest.

I am really loving this series. I sometimes wonder why they even put so much ecchi in it in the first place, since the story is great so far (I know why, so no need to answer). This is turning into one of my favorites this season as a must watch every week.

I was wondering what Akatsuki was doing the whole time while our heroine trio was fighting off the medusa chicken. I assume from all his arm bands that he went to gather them from all the escaping students in order for him to summon that sword. On the other hand, he might just have wanted the girls to have some experience fighting.

Also, judging by the preview, the no eyes guy that Akatsuki helped out at the lunch line seems very suspicious. Akatsuki is a really nice guy, using his powers to help out the weak. Also, I'm pretty sure that he, being the boss that he is, will figure out it was the president that created this havoc in the training.

Wasn't it Onizuka the bully that did it? He even mentions it right before dueling Akatsuki that he won't have to rely on it to beat him.
