A logic suitable for neanderthals is what probably pushed you forward as the best choice. After all, everyone knows that women are the best when it comes to piloting the IS. You're something that existed by chance and yet they put you on a pedestal. It almost feels like they're exhibiting a two headed frog. Hohoho.

Ichika:...What's the big deal anyway? You keep saying representative this and representative that, but that just means we're the chosen participants for Mondo Grosso right?

Cecilia: Oh? You don't know? What kind of dunce are you? You should at least know the importance of your station before you blindly accept. Or are you the type to just nod your head and say yes? Each one is treated as a national treasure and the only defense against other IS. So to speak, it is an invaluable asset and necessity for a country's continued prosperity. Without an IS, a country cannot even be considered worthy of standing on the world's stage as a superpower. And to us representatives, we are vested with the ownership of one of these 467 jewels. See do you understand now? Being a representative isn't merely about being chosen based on novelty. It's a position where you carry the burden of your country. In a way, we can also be counted as their benefactors. We are the best of the best, polished away from the dirt. We are superior to everyone else and stand above them all. That is what it means to be a representative.

Ichika: Aren't you mistaking something?

Cecilia: Oh? What am I mistaking?

Ichika: If what you say is true. Then doesn't that mean they've put their faith in us? Giving us the assurance of a country's life. Giving us the burden of their future. Instead of dangling all that in front of them. Don't you think it's your duty to answer their feelings and expectations? What crap is that about being elite? What crap is that about standing over others? If you want a match then I accept. I believe that is what everyone's feelings are right now, I believe that this is the burden I have to carry for everyone.

Okay, I'm making a plan. Rewrite means a lot of opportunity of massive retcon.

> Started with the exam gone wrong and lot's of exposition.

Day 1

> Introduction going smoothly, Cecilia barge in.

> Madoka spoke with Houki instead of Ichika. Ichika come in and congratulated Houki.

> Cecilia confrontation during class rep election, similar to manga version.

> Stupid Dorm violence is erased, instead, Houki challenged Ichika directly. She disappointed with his justified defeat, but caught off guard by surprise counter.

> Houki dream what if she never left

Day 2

> Ichika got into accident during refit process

> Ichika watched all the recording of Chifuyu's fight after his failure of controlling Kurogane and unable to understand the theory. Madoka grund herself with adjustment operation, hoping to find suitable configuration for Ichika.

> Chifuyu scolded her for staying too late, Madoka didn't respond kindly but obey anyway. Madoka found Ichika sleeping with computer on (full of tab and window), she is astonished that Ichika could work so hard if he tried.

> Ichika got the theory right at school

Day 3

> Houki dreamed of the past, she awake early, and when she get out, she saw Ichika train seriously.

> Houki insisted she'll join I.S. training, combining it with Kendo. Madoka challenged her so as not letting her interfere, but got stomped

> Ichika's debut fight also expanded. Seeing it, as well as Madoka's mockery of her, Cecilia is pissed off and left. Cecilia's background expanded.

I don't really remember why Ichika and Rin fought. All I know was that it was stupid.

I actually want to cry right now. But I'll hold it in and greet the winner my best wishes. But in the future, definitely, I won't lose again.

"I know you, Chifuyu-nee - you'd skip out if you felt your work was important enough." "..."Chifuyu just ignored him. "Hot or iced?" "Hnnn, since today is like this, let me get iced..." "Okay, give me a sec." "I'm gonna get changed - I feel like going out with some of the faculty." "The bar again, Chifuyu-nee?" "Hey. If anything, I deserve a drink or two." "Fine, fine.
