Glad we got a confirmation of season 5 so soon .

The show managed to beat High School DxD to a fifth season and a movie .

That is not really surprising though, considering it's Fantasia Bunkos Flagship, which is even stranger why they didin't do more with DAB than just two "movies".

S5 should cover two of the last three arcs of the series, two volumes each. (hopefully they won’t try to squish in the last arc or cut it out entirely) So yes, plenty of reveals on the way.

Without giving too much away, no, she doesn’t have a water theme to her powers. Water is important to her in some way, though (or rather, something to do with water is…you’ll see).

We knew Geektoys would continue as the animation studio, of course, but it’s still a disappointment considering how dull and flat I find their animation, as well as their over-reliance on CG. On the other hand, I’m thrilled that we’re getting a season five at all, considering how rare that is these days, so I suppose I can’t complain too much.

I liked season 4's animation a lot. Really the only thing I could complain about is the lack of naked Spirits outside one Kurumi strip scene .

Yeah, they’re quite divisive! Some people really liked them, and some people thought they were awful. I’m thrilled for all the people in the former category - unfortunately, I’m not one of them =/

A new singer doing the OP, sweet ARMS doing the ED again.

Ordering the first BD/DVD half gets you a figure of Mio in her summer one piece dress, which looks pretty good. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was sold on its own somewhere down the line, though, like the Kurumi figure that they sold with pre-orders of Date A Bullet.

So $*** hits the fan, all-out war between Ratatosk and DEM complete with fleet battles, and Shidou goes full player mode.

While I'm hyped, I'm a bit suprised that will start in the spring season. I wasn't expecting any news before somewhere in march (fantasia bunko for example).
So it seems the big ones will battle it out against eachother once again .

Epic key visual, epic PV, CG Spirits, Shidou putting the moves on an artificial Spirit, maybe kissing Kurumi (?), Final Boss level Spirit, and...young Reine !?

I'm glad SWEET Arms is still doing something but it's so weird to have Miyu Tomita sing an OP for a show she's not even in .
