Plot Summary/Premise

Hunted, enslaved, and killed—such is the terrible fate that befalls the members of the Black Cats tribe. Twelve-year-old Fran, a girl of the persecuted race, craves revenge for the atrocities committed against her people. She dreams of a brighter future, one for which she will not hesitate to get her hands dirty. An encounter with a talking sword, a reincarnated man looking for a beautiful wielder, turns out to be the deciding moment that will change her fate.

With the help of her new comrade, the young Fran plans to reclaim the pride and honor of her kin, slashing down all her enemies along the way. With an unshakable resolve, she embarks on a journey with her miraculous sword.

It really was just a matter of time before adaptations like this arrived. Why limit ourselves to being reincarnated as living creatures? Already long since passed the line of being reincarnated as a human being .

Joking aside, the concept has some potential. Plus it does allow someone besides the main character to do things since the main character needs a wielder to do anything .

I never even bothered the moment I heard it was "isekai'd as an object". This instead looks like the story of a beautiful badass loli kicking all kinds of butt with the help of her intelligent legendary weapon. Honestly, they could've just had him be a spirit or the soul of a former weapon-master if it's like that, but if throwing in a common gimmick doesn't harm the story or make it less badass then I'm fine with it.

No, it wouldn't work that way, its' like this because MC brought in his own otherworlder mindset.

The trailer suggests the prologue will be animated but I seriously doubt the MC meeting Fran will be delayed past the first episode.

I've actually kind of grown tried of seeing cat girls in fantasy/isekai web novels. Usually they turn out to be one of the shallower members of the cast and they are mainly there to act cute, say Nya and get their ears and tails rubbed. I often read the novel faster until I can get to someone else.

But Fran is definitely not like that so I'm looking forward to seeing this animated. It should be fun.

I'm excited that Tensei shitara Ken deshita is getting a TV anime! I love the light novel series, and it's a great choice for adaptation. I'm excited to see how they adapt the story, but I'm also cautious about how they will handle some of the more complex plot elements. Sword is one of my favorite light novel series, and I hope the anime can do it justice. I think it has the potential to be a great anime. However, only time will tell if it lives up to the hype. While little is known about the plot, the series is sure to be an action-packed adventure with plenty of sword fighting.
