School Rumble Like-Animes

I've grown in love with School Rumble, its comedy is just brilliant, and it also has awesome characters. Does any one know a Romance/Comedy/School Anime like this one?

Also i tried a lot of different romantic school comedy Anime but so far none fits, The thing i like about school rumble which puts all the others to shame is its realistic animations, so basically post Animes here with Drawings similar to School Rumble and not those Chibi animations.

Hayate no Gotoku!
...but the animation isn't so realistic ( did School Rumble really have realistic animation? )

Then maybe take a look at Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu if you haven't yet.

Yeah it did, thats what i loved mostly, they didn't have some fat midget, the characters were actually scaled correctly.

And that Anime looks a bit to childish, got anything eles?

u can try Ouran High School Club for skool related humor genre, even though its different than School Rumble, its still skool humor :P

I guess it's more under the comedy/drama genre, not that much romance, but Great Teacher Onizuka is great if you haven't seen it yet. Wish they'd make some new seasons of that.
The main character is the teacher in this one, but he sort of resembles Harima, he's a bad-ass fighter kind of guy, but he has a kind heart and has a tendency to get shy around girls.

I would say that Lovely Complex is the best fit for School Rumble.

Yasashi? Hai. Shy? Zen-zen nai! He acts cool around the ladies (students or otherwise).

That said, GTO is a really great show, although I can't understand the ending since I've yet to read the manga:

You might want to try Full Meta Panic: Fumoffu. One of the few comedies that I'd put on par with School Rumble.

Other options, from the ones i watched, could be Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Hayate no Gotoku, Ouran Koukou Host Club?, which are not exactly what you ask, but I can't find anything matching your request more closely.

Yes I second Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu because it has good school romance. School Rumble is pretty unique so not many will be similar. Hayate no Gotoku, Azumanga Daioh, and Lucky Star are good comedies, but they're not similar to School Rumble at all.

If you don't hate the chibi factor as much as you say (although i don't think it's so chibi) Zero no Tsukaima always made me think of school rumble in its slapstick comedy.

Tenshi na Konamaiki ~ almost the same (delinquent and stupid male lead ) except it has the twist of fantasy (to be specific some gender change fantasy)...

Azumanga Daioh is another great school comedy. It's definitely what you want to watch ! The characters often do weird faces, but not chibi !
