Presumably it's only for JP for now, but since EN K-Lab hasn't announced why the double box/event happened or if it's to keep going. There is an unlikely possibility they skip us to there because they want Aquors (thus 4.0) to come out as anime airs to take advantage of the anime hype, imo.

Also depending what these 'school idol skills' do it could be enough to push idolized SRs being stronger than promo URs generally since they have 4 slots.

Thanks zeross87 I'm pretty sure I made it in the end, but if the events are going to be this way from now on, I guess this is my last one tiering I lost count of how many lg I have spent (around 30-35). I even spent one last gem just to fail 4 songs in the last 2 min (on purpose, I'm not THAT bad lol) to get some more points, and there wasn't enough time to play an entire song, and as a F2P player it will be imposible to tier in every event, even with daily gems.

And the stress... last two hours playing non stop as I started the morning in 80k V_V

At least I can go to work knowing (or at least being pretty sure) that I've tiered

Seeing the event cutoff and your points that saved you your t2 spot
That was a genius move I never thought of doing that

Yep, when you fail an EX song it still gets you 91 points... so if I hadn't done that I would have been out of the cutoff Thank the Idol gods that sometimes I have some good ideas

Anyway, now I'm only with 30 lg left, so I will probably not be able to try to get the new Eli even once. But I think from now on I will be scouting more and tiering less (except in Eli events ofc )

I still consider 30 lg for 2 Sr to be acceptable as scouting is more often 50lg = 1 Sr for me

But I only consider stats and don't care for the girls or sets

... I feel like Yohane is responsible for this new set on JP . I do like the unidolized Nico & Honoka though.

And part 2 about 4.0 for JP SIF came out today with some details on quite a few nice new features, and more details on the previously mentioned 'school idol skills'.

Edit: I did a blue ticket on JP for Love Live's 6th anniversary:

Now I have 3 URs I am considering selling on JP since no way I am using this Rin... sorry... now I have to think about what UR I'd want most (8 ones I am really considering) or if I just want to idolize URs I have already quickly... Also this is the 3rd initial UR I've gotten on JP now.

Sweet. I like how there are many new features based on the player's taste. Such as the favorite point and the idolized/non-idolized switch. This way I don't need to hesitate about idolizing cards which I like the unidolized form better.

Meanwhile in en we don't know what is going on anymore. Next event is not kotoumi medfest but nozo solo tokens

Perhaps we will go token -> double SM -> tokens-> double medley etc... To not let tokens and story too far behind?

Probably so. Come to think of it, every character has their own unique token icon based on the name of the event, so maybe that's the cause why token events are made solo?

if this is true, then how about the UR scouting? will it go solo too or not...

Wait solo Nozomi token event is next on EN? I thought it would be Umi (or double KotoUmi) Medley fest event next.... EN is truly unpredictable now .

I don't think Yohane has anything to do with the new set. We had devil, vampire, and oni cards before.

Similar case for me, as I'll just skip this event (unless there's an SR card that interest me, I've been skipping the "token" events recently) and focus more on the various tablet RPG spin-off games that I've been getting into recently.

I feel even more needed personally to at least get the free SR each a event, since even if I don't like the card, it's a step towards idolizing UR w/o giving up another UR .

Token events are horrible. I hate playing the double amount of songs in a seemingly endless cycle. At least nowadays there are those 4x EX songs that reduce the amount of times you need to play the event song. My favourites are MedFes and Challenge Fes.

While I'm also relieved to still have single events (I seriously hate how things are rushed recently), not sure I like how the arrangement is as it might ruin people's tiering plan (gathering the gems and such).

It's actually kind of the same with other events, no? score match etc. might be a 1-time play events, but the required points to get the prize are also double of the token events.

I agree that token still feels far more tedious, though.
