A yuri-ending would have been fine too, especially since no man has been able to defeat her yet.
But yeah, I too kinda expected Cinque to enter the competition. Maybe not so much because he truly loves her, but because he'd treat it as good practice. And I also expected Leaf to be a girl in the end, especially when they showed he was wearing (what looked like) girl clothes when he and Leo first met.

Should be an interesting story. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing the past history there. An interesting chance to do more background for that world in general.
Once again it's kind of amazing how damn powerful Leaf is. Younger than most of the main cast and yet already that strong. Could easily see that guy growing into being the world's strongest at this rate. Not a very busy episode, but a comfortable one. Even managed to fit in another concert scene for Millhi so that's also a positive. Just an episode that makes the world feel a bit more concrete with all the points made about the leaders being pretty busy doing other things. Just shows that everyone has a lot going on.

Even Nanami approved of Leaf. He's pretty much officially Leo-sama's future husband.
Next week's episode should be interesting. I've been wanting to find out more about Adele and Valery for ages.

Uh... this was boring, only got interesting towards the end.
I miss Shinku, Milhi and ,why not, Eclair in the spotlight. Nanami is a good character but she doesn't works out for me, even less when there is a clueless shota that doesn't knows that others are reading to much in the nothingness. It's the mix of characters used in the episode that felt bland. |

The end of the episode was more of what I was looking for. I do hope it's not a sad story, but I wonder how difficult that will be.
Loved the "quality" in this episode. Maybe it's the nature of the series, but some stuff are so intensive I dun see how they will have enough to make sure everything is okay. |

This was also, likely, heavily outsourced again. A lot of those tighter close-ups again. |
