Igor's new VA is a bit of a shock to me. A bit too deep and not enough nasal tone to it to match the old ones.

Still, it's good to hear they in the final process of mastering the game. All that's left is the eventual US release date on E3 this year. With Uncharted released, i'm curious how much stage time Atlus is going to get with Persona 5 from Sony which only had a little snippets in their transition screen during last year's press conference.

Not to mention there's FF15 as well, so it's going to be two highly anticipated JRPGs going head on in terms of marketing and exposure time. Though with Square having their own conference last year, i wouldn't be surprised if Sony gave more time to Persona which is a platform exclusive and somewhat of a media darling lately amongst the game coverage folks.

Game wise, the presentation is still the biggest draw. The transition to and fro battle is really well done to cover the loading time. A whole dump of new characters barring one last dude which probably means the next reveal will probably be the last before official release.

Oddly enough, no humanoid persona was shown for the new characters. The bike and ufo persona is a bit disappointing for me since i really love the creepy doll-esque persona design.

Glad to see they've recast Igor so that he can be part of the series once again. I'm excited that they aren't just having someone ape his old voice actor. I hope the new interpretation of him gives the character some new life.

As much as I want to play this asap, I've got my September booked out for Trails of Cold Steel 2. And what if FFXV turns out to be great, and I can't put it off?? Okay... calm down... I just have to not ever sleep for a month or two...

My money is on Mitsuru, Naoto is a close second.

Unless they did a recast too. IIRC, the woman was voiced by Yuko Kaida.

Well, just looking forward to what we can get at E3. Hopefully we get a date and not just a release window. Going to be a big wait regardless, but still glad we're one step closer to being able to play this thing.

Doesn't seem likely as the last persona only had cameo with non critical role in the stories. We did saw adachi, narukami and Vincent look alike in the trailer though when the MC is doing his part time job so wouldn't be surprised to see more characters appear.

That's what I thought with P4's initial offering, but then we learned more about Chie and Naoto in game, and goddamn was I wrong.

Well we don't actually know what their character prortraits are as of yet, and we don't know what Haru looks like yet behind that mask.

You can check out Haru's look on their CE dlc page. All the character including the unannounced last male characterwas shown there in their dlc outfit. Waifu wise, let's wait and see. Personally I find mitsuru the most attractive out of them all but P4 girls were much easier to relate to with their personal issues than the overdramatic doom and gloom that hangs over the P3 cast.

Looks wise though, P5 is pretty ahead the pack with their faaaaaabulous thieving outfit. Hopefully they ll have character writing as strong as .......

At this point no way I can be sure who I'll like most out of the cast or how they will compare to the previous groups. Honestly if I just saw the other characters without much to know about them....I'd be unsure there too . Some of it as well might just come down to the English VAs they choose and we're well off from that.

Could see myself quite liking any of them. Though I think Ann is still near the top at this early juncture. The information we've gotten from her so far seems pretty good.

Futaba seems like a good navigator character. Also like Makoto's character from that trailer. Bring on the biker persona .

Wow, Haruka Tomatsu is Haru? Thought for sure it was Saori Hayami...not that I'll complain about having Haruka Tomatsu playing a Party Member in a Persona game either .

The ladies of Persona 5 are shaping up to be a very attractive (especially in those thief outfits ) and interesting bunch, and their personalities sound like they'll be fun to see play out in the game and with the rest of the cast. They obviously have a high pedigree to live up to given the female cast of P3 and P4, but I'm certain they'll be able to stand out in their own way .

Though after Golden, I can't help but wonder what penalty there'll be for trying to max out all their Social Links on a Lovers Path this time .
