JEEB is looking for new blood - fight 02
Group: JEEB fansubs
Positions: Translators/Translation Checkers, Typesetters/Timers Sure/Current Projects: Lucky☆Star, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai IRC Channel: #jeeb @ irc.rizon.net E-mail: jeebjp {atmark} gmail.com MSN Messenger: jeebatk {atmark} hotmail.com Website: http://jeeb.fiveforty.jp OK. Now our group has a pretty stable inner self, at least on the usual TL, text-editing- and basic timing- side. But still more people are needed to keep some sudden problems from coming. People in knowledge of Japanese are needed on the Higurashi Kai side, as I need people to feed the editor faster in order to make it move quicker. Lucky☆Star needs another typesetter and translator / TLC. Although the main styles are done, there's always the need for timing & all those signs to be done. People with some experience are preferred, although if you have the knowledge, we will take you gladly to our ranks. Details about positions:
If you are interested in any of the positions and think you can be an active part of a group during this year at least, or just have any questions about them, please contact me through IRC, e-mail, the website, MSN Messenger or through PM in this forum. Also people that can help with seeding of releases and/or in providing XDCC bots are always needed, so please be in contact with me if you can help with that. With best regards, JEEB

Group: AnimeRealm
Positions: All positions Possible Projects: Zombie Loan, Shigurui, Baccano IRC Channel: #Recruits irc.rizon.net Contact: Please send me a PM or find me at #Recruits on rizon Due to the large success within the first 24 hours that I replied to this thread thanks to animesuki, I have managed to get somewhere with this and actually have some staff now. We have quality checking, editing, typesetting, distro, and web hosting covered at least for our first project. Our goal is to release high quality fansubs using H264 preferably in 1024x576 resolution. I am currently communicating with more people through PM here and will probably recruit some more staff. However, we are still short on some vital positions. Some positions that need to be filled: Co-Founder: Experienced fansubber with a wide range of skills and the ability to fill in many positions. You will be taking command of the projects and filling in gaps where needed. Translator: It's extremely rare to find a translator these days. I am looking for a Japanese->English translator with good knowledge in both languages. The translator will also decide future projects based on staff availability and their taste. We have one that is willing to help at the moment but the more the merrier. Encoder: The whole idea is making high quality video. I want to release the episodes in 1024x576 using H.264. Everything else is up to you. Timer: It's safe to say that timing and translating are the most important tasks that need to be done quickly. Once they are done, I will help with the rest and hopefully start releasing episodes right away. That being said, all positions are open. If you would like to help out in any way and start making this dream a reality please don't hesitate to contact me. The more the merrier. Anything from serving, seeding, bot providing, typesetting, karaoke, web design... all welcome. Please drop me a PM and hopefully it will work out. There will be some great benefits and incentives for the staff if we succeed based on performance I am not going to say what to avoid time wasters, but if you prove dedicated your work will not go unrewarded. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you. EDIT: Thread edited due to progress Last edited by FireSage; 2007-08-07 at 14:15. |

Group: Supornova Fansubs
Contact: gingeranger1@gmail.com Mission Statement: To sub Japanese Foreign Media, especially series from the Tokusatsu genre. Avalable: All positions available. Needed: Jap>Eng Translator. Could help: Someone too do Karaoke and Typesetting with effects and also an experienced encoder. Projects planned: the sentai series Flashman, Kagaku Sentai Dynaman, Seijou Sentai Gingaman, Gosei Sentai Dairanger and J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai.. My immediate priority is too get Flashman off the ground and then start on J.A.K.Q. as it is a smaller series. Any translator help would be excellent. Experience prefered, but is not essential. Anybody who understands Japanese too a good degree would work. QUICK EDIT: I know that at the moment my projects are mainly geared towards Tokusatsu (actually Sentai but nevermind). If a translator wanted too work on an Anime Project, I would be willing too work on it in exchange for working on these projects of my choice. Guys I apologise! I put in the wrong e-mail address! I have now fixed it! It is definately gingeranger1@gmail.com ... so for those who have contacted me please do so again if interested. Supornova is expanding! I'm now wanting too open an anime department as well now and will need staff members too run this section. Translators are of course a must and whoever comes into the group will have too discuss what they want too sub. So if there is a series you want too work on, contact me now by PM or e-mail: gingeranger1@gmail.com (more experienced members will get a bigger say in the decisions btw) Last edited by xris; 2007-08-11 at 11:38. |

I am an experienced timer looking for work on a group with unlicensed series' from the 80s to early 90s. I'm not interested in subbing new anime persay I am very picky with newer anime nowadays.

I've gotten a couple of e-mails about Isyutaru recruiting members.
So far they have been for Timing and Editing Positions. So now I need 1 or 2 Timers and Editors as Backup. To get started, I will need at least 2 translators dedicated enough to work an episode each week. Other positions needed now: Translation-Checkers, Karaoke Stylers, more QCers, Backup Typesetters and Backup Encoders. My projects remain the same for the moment: School Days and Clannad in 2008. Hope to get started soon! I've got a couple of people eager to start. ^^ Contact information: isyutaru.fansubs@gmail.com We will have an IRC channel once our group has been put together. |

Position(s): Karaoke Maker
Group: Frenchies-Subs Project(s): Captain Tsubasa (the original one, 1983) E-Mail: hiei.tf@tiscali.fr As there were some problems between two peoples in the team (which is boring but unavoidable), both left and so, to avoid problems, we prefer not use the old karaoke made by one of two persons who left, so we're searching a karaoke maker to do a new karaoke for Captain Tsubasa Ep. 4+. So, if there's a karaoke maker somewhere who is interest, feel free to contact us. |

Help Wanted
Position(s): Typesetters & QC'ers
Group: Megami Anime Project(s): Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! IRC Channel: #megami-recruits@irc.rizon.net IRC Contact: Tsugumi MSN: dannywang929@hotmail.com ( no spam please ) >_>;; Our translator ( shadeless ) love this series and has dedicated a lot of time to this series. Currently the status on the series is: 1-2 are in final encode. 3-4 is in qc. 5-7 needs typesetting, 8-10 being translated. This project has been stall for a little bit due to our current staff been busy ( or so they said, probably just lazy... ) and also because we are doing quality sub with DVD raws, so we would like to bring in those who are experienced and are willing to dedicate some of their time to this anime. In particular, we need dedicated typesetters, since some eps of this series require A LOT of typesetting, but translators and timers are also welcome. |

GWi
Do you ever feel you need an editor for this one episode when she's on vacation or an encoder because he's been very busy with exams for this one release? Then, you’ve come to the right group to ask for temporary assistance! Our mission is to help out groups with staff missing temporarily for the duration of an episode.
We, at Group Whores Incorporated or GWi for short, are veterans (or fansub hoes, as some may call us) gathered in one place to help out other fansubbing groups in needs of temporary replacements. Currently, there are 20 members in the group, all whoring themselves out to finish the projects for you! Our members consist of:
We do not assist the following:
Currently, we can only be reached on the IRC: #GWi @ irc.rizon.net If you need assistance, please drop in a message about what you need and what we can do for you. Our bot is currently underway. Ground rules for asking our assistance:

Group: Formula Sub
Projects: CODE-E, Les Miserables, Tales of Symphonia OVA Position: Translation checker Web: www.formulasub.com IRC: #formulasub@irc.rizon.net Contacts: xlr8, Merines, martino Our current TLC is busy with real life or something, so we're in need of another. Projects are listed above. A decent understanding of Japanese is of course is necessary (i.e., no otaku lingo-only people, I can understand that on my own ^^ ), and you should be able to convey your thoughts in English as well. A lot of people were jumping down our throats because of some TL errors/editing mishaps in Code-E, so here's your chance to help us out!
