There's a lot of stuff to be said about Raishin's abilities. He has really grown a lot after all these volumes. It's actually extremely hilarious how much he can do compared to what the anime showed us, and it's also funny how much Raishin has learned so far.
I'm going to detail Raishin's main and/or special abilities, but for that to be truly understood, I first have to talk about everyone else.
Basically, there are a lot of persons in this universe that can be considered extremely game-breaking characters in terms of pure strength. At first we get a glimpse at Loki, who was at the time an extremely talented magician from anyone's perspective, but then we get a glimpse to the many
monsters that have come by in this story, and it is truly hilarious.
Let's Start with
Wisemans. Wisemans are considered to be the "strongest and finest talent of an era". The only way an individual can learn this title is by winning the evening party that is executed approximately every 4 years. Of course, this means that the story has a lot of Wisemans, not only one. And yes, they can all be considered monsters in terms of talent and strength. Every person that earns this title also earns a nickname, that suits one special characteristic about them.
For example, Raishin's master Griselda (From vol 6 and on) is called "The Demond Lord of the Labyrinth" because her family specialized in learning how to control the human body through the magic circulatory system each person has inside, thanks to "Ariadne's String", which is a tattoo passed down for generations between the Weston descendants. The magic circulatory system is so complex it can be considered a maze, hence the nickname. General Raikkonen is known as "The Demon Lord of Incineration" because he controls a
legend class automaton that can be called the god of fire.
Wisemans are extremely broken on their own, and no
normal student or
professor is match for them.
I will put the characters that have already reached a Wiseman level as of volume 14(in terms of magical ability), but aren't actually Wisemans on their own here: Charl, Hinowa and Loki. Each of them can probably hold their own if confronted with a Wiseman. (
Limit break Loki is probably Rose tier, but I'll leave that later for when I post volume 15 spoilers
)
Now, let's rise up only one level above Wisemans--And here we find what I personally call
stray cats.
None of the persons in this category ever learned a big title like Wiseman, but are potentially stronger than them. In this list I will put Unjaku (Raishin's katana teacher) and Edward Rutherford (Director of the academy).
Unjaku is an extremely skilled assassin. I won't go into details about him, but just keep in mind that, despite having almost 0 magical abilities, he is above most Wisemans.
Edward Rutherword can be described as an excellent magician, but nothing extremely out of the regular standards that a skilled magician wouldn't have already. However, Edward is considered the
strongest magician of the 19th century, and this, as stated by himself, is the title he learned because of all his
political strength. Part of this political strength comes from the magical book he owns, Lemegeton. Lemegeton is a magical storage for legendary class automatons--so basically, you can kind of guess how ridiculously strong he can actually be. By the way, legendary class automatons are old and dangerous automata that are actually real legends.
I was actually hesitating to put Edward Rutherford in this category, as he is miles above a wiseman level, but I'll settle for this layer as long as you understand how strong he is for now.
Now let's keep rising in terms of powerlevels even more now.
The Roses.
Every and single one of them are so tremendously dangerous that they can be considered monsters, abominations and witches. Their mere mention in any matter is already a reason for imminent disaster. Yes, The Roses, leaders of the Rose Association, are that much of a threat for anyone in this universe.
And no wonder. Every Rose can look extremely young, but in fact, most of them are really old, which means they have had more than thrice the time most regular magicians have to polish their magical abilities and secret formulas. As solid proof of this, Gold Rose had already shown she owned
Panta Rhei, Grey Rose had shown she could use the
Theoreim and Black Rose has a damn hades that she can freely control.
In terms of raw power and magical abilities, for now, the Roses are way above every other character in this universe, so remember that too.
Okay now, let's leave the powerlevel for a second.
I want you to imagine
any normal magician inside this universe.
There's a limit to how much magic energy a normal magician can emit at a single time, and send outside their body to produce magic, or to share energy to their automaton. And this applies to every person that exists, no matter how talented they are, how much magic energy aggregate amount they may posses, or how skilled they may be.
Of course the more talented you are, the more your magic energy reserves increase, and so does your output limit, if ever just so slightly.
But there's so much you would ever be able to do as a single magician without any external help.
Haven't you noticed how I never described any other outstanding magician or puppeteer that could control more than 2,3 automatons at once? Right? that's because it's
not humanly possible to do it, not even for someone as strong as a Rose.
The magic energy inside a body is like huge stream, that only has one spout to flow outside. This also means, if you just throw the spout open, it's going to overflow meaninglessly, but if you can accurately control how much you decide to emit, you can use your energy more efficiently.
However, since you only ever have one spout to emit magic energy from, it is never going to be a big enough amount to control more than one automaton at a time, and try to not be bad at it. If you try to fill in one bucket of water with that spout, it's going to fill pretty quick. But, what if you try to fill 2 buckets at the same time with that only spout you have? The two buckets will never be filled at the same time. It is possible, but not exactly efficient.
For this same reason, most broken characters in this universe aren't stupid enough to ever try to control more than one automaton at once--Because it would only hinder their skill and decrease their efficiency. The output ratio is pretty much 1:1; an extremely skilled magician doesn't ever think about using more than 2 automaton at the same time, because they know that no matter how big their magical reserves may be, there's a limit to how much magic energy they can emit at a given time.
Of course there's more concepts to magic energy output, like being able to properly condensate and manipulate your magic energy to be thin and concise, as well as properly concentrating it to have a higher control over things that you can do with that magic energy, like telekinesis and other stuff like that.
So...are there really no puppeteers in this universe that can handle more than 1 automaton at once? No right? There's Frey, that can control her dogs at the same time, but she sacrifices a lot of accuracy and overall efficiency to do this. Also, her dog's magic circuit Sonic isn't a complex enough circuit that can't be controlled separately with ease. Attempting to control more than 1 automaton with a more complex kind of magic is just not possible for any other human being. Right?
Well yes, unless you're someone from the Akabane Clan, the only puppeteers in this story that can actually control more than 2 automatons with complex magic circuits at once, and don't suck at it.
For this reason I'm going to mention the special
Akabane level . Unironically, it is the
strongest powerlevel inside this entire franchise.
It's not for nothing the Akabane clan were known to be the strongest puppeteers, and at the same time, the most inhuman clan inside japan. The tainted history of murdering and everlasting conflict the Akabanes had, has resulted in newborn child to have an even better and durable body with each passing generation. In other words, every child that is born into the clan, has a really high vitality and is a great contender for elevated amounts of total magic energy capacity. What I'm trying to say here, is that every Akabane member has outstanding vitality and outstanding magic energy capacity since the very moment they are born.
Why do you think the Akabane was known as a clan that could control several automaton/puppets
at the same time?
The answer is called
Kouyokujin 紅翼陣 (Literally, "Crimson Wing Formation") - Akabane's greatest technique and most treasured secret. A cheat ability only the Akabanes can do.
It is mentioned the hands are the parts of the body that have the highest magic energy affinity outside the entire body. A really bad magician (like Raishin in the anime) has to point their hands to their automaton to send magic energy. However, a more skilled magician like Charl and Loki, who have better control, can emit magic energy from any part of their body. (It is rarely seen Loki or Charl, or any other skilled magician at that, point their hands toward their automaton when they are fighting, only Raishin does this at first, as he hadn't had enough practice before coming to the academy.)
It was said that in the past, there used to be a monster(human) that could normally emit 10 times more magic energy than what a normal human could handle. This person could emit the same amount of magic energy one person can emit from their single spout, but for each finger on his two hands. This monster is later the one that created the Akabane clan, and is the direct ancestor to the every Akabane blooded boy or girl that is born into it.
His blood was special. And all his descendants share his blood - the kuretsuba blood. Every Akabane can, in theory, pull off the same trick the original Akabane could do with ease.
This is called Kouyokujin. Basically, it is an insane magical booster only Akabanes can use. It lets them produce the same amount of magic energy a normal human being can emit, but x10, for each finger of their hands, with the same accuracy and precision as any other skilled magician.
This is what lets the Akabane clan be able to control more than one automaton/puppet efficiently at the same time. They have 10 spouts, one for each finger, and they can accurately control each one of them.
However, no matter how ridiculous the technique may be, being able to overflow fucktons of magic energy at once doesn't mean it is without limitations and extremely dangerous risks.
The first risk is that the technique itself is
extremely hard to handle. Whenever Kouyokujin is activated, the body of its user overloads. This means the blood circulation accelerates, the heart's beats get out of control, and the magic circulatory system is thrown into a rampage. The calm magic energy stream inside the body turns into a really muddy torrent.
Only those who are able to keep themselves calm and regulate the chaos inside their bodies are qualified to use Kouyokujin. The technique is called Crimson Wing Formation, because an skilled Akabane needs to keep the blood circulation regulated inside their body while they are using this magical boost. What they usually do, is concentrate their blood in the back of their body as they consume it to regulate the magical torrent of energy. This causes their blood to quickly evaporate and create two crimson wings on their back, which is where the name comes from. An skilled Akabane user, manifests two beautiful crimson wings on their back when pulling out a perfect kouyokujin. Also, when using this ability, there's one fully condensed string of magic energy coming out from each of the 10 fingers of their hands.
The other risk is
actual death. It takes only one small mistake for the accumulated blood inside the body to lose control and rupture any part of the body, including any organ. It doesn't take a genius to imagine how dangerous that is, right?
Kouyokujin is an extremely broken ability just because of the sheer amount of magic energy it produces. You know what? The magic energy is so ridiculously huge, that it can literally
destroy other magic, if it gets hit by any of the 10 magic energy strings. The density of the condensed magic energy is also so rich, that it can even be used as an actual physical binder, using the strings of each finger as if they were ropes. This implies a lot more than what you think, but yeah, it is that ridiculous of a technique.
Assuming you do have a perfect control over kouyokujin, it still has a huge drawback, and that is the huge toll it puts on its user.
Having 10 spouts where to draw energy from, doesn't mean their magic energy reserves are also 10x bigger than a normal human. This means that using Kouyokujin usually burns out its users pretty quick, as it is a quick drainer for magic energy, which in proportion means it's a quick drainer for stamina and endurance. It's usually not viable to maintain a full kouyokujin for long periods of time, as it also consumes a lot of blood and can quickly be fatal for whoever that uses it.
Akabane Raishin - And finally let me talk about Raishin to answer your question, keeping in mind everything I wrote up there to fully understand what he can do.
Raishin was shown to be a really bad magician and puppeteer. However, this changes as the volumes keep advancing, to the point were Raishin gets a nickname of "Wiseman Killer" later on.
One of Raishin's characteristics are that he can actually fight alongside Yaya and not only sit back like most puppeteers do. It has also been mentioned several times Raishin's instincts are equal to those of a wild animal, and he can very well sense murdering intent pretty quick.
Now, Raishin is also known to be an extremely talented strategist. Alice admitted herself that Raishin and her father are the only guys she's ever seen outsmart her, and that says a lot on its own.
Well, up to volume 5 there is no real change to what can Raishin do aside from what is seen in the anime. He just gets more smarter and more cautious up to that point, but nothing else. It is in this point that we get introduced to Kouyokujin though, and we learn how ridiculous it is.
Liverpool gets assaulted by Edmund during the automaton expo, and Rutherford orders Magnus to capture Ionera Eliade. However, no one could actually use their automaton inside the city, because of Evangeline's (Io's automaton) magic, which caused anyone inside the city to lose their mind and be under Eva's control. How did this happen? Eva's magic circuit (March Controller) is a magical booster that receives its master's magic energy and multiplies it in a chain reaction, amplifying it several times. This causes Eva to emit a song, and whoever gets hit by her waves of sound, to lose control.
However, good automatons like the Setsugetsuka, don't lose their rationality. Irori helps Raishin while he is inside the city, but didn't lose control over her actions. Still, Irori was pretty much useless inside the city, as even after receiving Raishin's magic energy, she could not activate her own magic. This was because Eva's magical intrusion was too strong to allow any other magic to be used inside her control radius.
This is only natural, because of the
Magic Activity Dissonance Theory, which I already mentioned before, is the absolute rule about magic in this universe.
Two different types of magic can not be used at the same time within the same body. Please also remember this, as you wanted to know about the limits of magic in this universe.
For this reason any and all automatons inside Liverpool were useless. However, Magnus used a perfect kouyokujin to overwrite this supreme control and activate Hotaru's magic circuit to repel the berserk automatons. Kouyokujin's magic energy output is so insane it could totally overwrite Eva's control and prioritize Hotaru's magic over hers. Raishin saw this and felt he would never be able to beat Magnus if he couldn't use that technique.
Because of this event and from this point on, Raishin always tries to use Kouyokujin himself whenever he is in a dire situation.
The first time he actually tries to use it, is at the end of volume 5, where he needed to activate Yaya's magic circuit inside Eva's controlled area, and there was no other way around than to use that magical boost. The result is that Raishin manages to use around 5-6 magic energy strings, which were enough to activate Yaya's kongouriki. However, after a few seconds of activating this incomplete kouyokujin, Raishin's back explodes and he loses consciousness.
The second time Raishin is seen trying to pull off his kouyokujin is at the beginning of volume 6, where he tries to save Wiseman Griselda and other citizens. Raishin manages to use around 7 strings, but gets the same outcome, with his back blowing off one more time.
These two times Raishin should've died, but Yaya always heals him with her own lifespan.
After Griselda teaches Raishin how to control his internal magical circulation better (to the point were he is able to pull out the entire potential of Komurasaki's Yaegasumi) Raishin attempts to use Kouyokujin one more time at the end of volume 6, when he is fighting Wiseman Raikkonen for the first time. This time, Raishin's kouyokujin releases 10 fully condensed magic energy strings, but Raishin still isn't able to condensate the blood flowing inside his body very well. Right before his back explodes one more time, Griselda inserts her one string of magic energy inside his body to regulate Raishin's blood circulation directly. (Griselda can use Ariadne's String, which is a tattoo that allows whoever that has it to have a very precise magic energy control, and this also allows Griselda to emit one magic energy string like the 10 kouyokujin has, except she is also limited by only one spout too.)
You could say Raishin manages to pull off a complete kouyokujin here, but with Griselda's help, as he would've been dead if she wasn't there.
From this point on, Griselda tells Raishin
he is not made to handle a full kouyokujin, and gives him Ariadne's String tattoo, which Raishin engraves in his right arm to limit his Kouyokujin's boost. After this happens, Raishin gets a way to only release a incomplete kouyokujin (half of it, only 5 strings) that he can fully control without hurting himself.
At the end of volume 7, Raishin gets a one in a life chance to kill Magnus without interruptions. However, Magnus is very disappointed when he sees Raishin had given up in deciding to master a full kouyokujin and is trying to fight him only using half of its power. Magnus tells Raishin he has "discarded the talent he was born with" and decides to call out only 3 automaton of his squadron to fight Raishin, using also only half of a kouyokujin, the same way Raishin did. He also reveals to Raishin that with enough control, an Akabane doesn't even need external help (Like Raishin had with Ariadne's string tattoo) to control the output of kouyokujin to whatever they like, and proves his point by fighting Raishin only with one arm (5 strings).
The battle starts in Raishin's favor, as he actually manages to overpower Magnus' automatons, if only for a little while. After a while, Raishin starts losing the fight when he realizes one of Magnus' automatons can suck out the magic energy from the opponent's automaton, which causes Yaya to be weakened very quickly, and Raishin to end up getting severely injured by Hotaru. Raishin loses the fight against Magnus, and is saved my Rutherford just before he is killed. Rutherford comments to Magnus "his time was over"
After this point, Raishin realizes he is still
too damn weak to ever hope to kill Magnus, and endeavors in trying to master a fully complete kouyokujin.
Raishin's kouyokujin - Raishin has learned to mess a lot with Kouyokujin during his time with Ariadne's String tattoo. He has learned to use those magical strings to destroy other people's magic, as well as to attack directly to the puppeteer and mess with their internal magic circulatory system. Raishin is very skilled in using half of kouyokujin's power to his favor, to mess with his opponents. Raishin gets well known as a "magic destroyer" by several of the members in the evening party, as he usually uses kouyokujin as part of his strategy to mess with other people's magic and alter them to his convenience.
After volume 12 however, Raishin decides to throw away Ariadne's String tattoo limiter, and attempts to use a perfect kouyokujin for the first time, to escape with Hinowa, Irori and Komurasaki from Gold Rose. This is the first time Raishin manages to pull a perfect kouyokujin without external help and without hurting himself. From this point on, Raishin always uses a complete kouyokujin (10 magic energy strings) the same way he used his incomplete kouyokujin, and is still very characteristic of him to mess with other people's magic to destroy or alter them.
For this same purpose, Raishin ranks very high in the power level list. Using a complete kouyokujin allows him to pretty much fuck with everyone's magic no matter how strong they are. A perfect example of this is what happened during his fight with Gold Rose - Gold Rose attempted to active her Panta Rhei to accelerate her time, but was terrified when she realized she couldn't activate her magic because Raishin was messing with both her lion and her body using his kouyokujin's strings. Raishin also uses this chance to attack her with his master's katana, and pull a complete kouyokujin to cover the katakana with a thick layer of magic energy that allowed him to overpower Gold Rose's miasma armor and cut her diagonally in half.
Heavenly Eye - Yes, this exists here and is an stronger version of what Mind's Eye usually is. What this does, is serve as an extremely sharp magical sensor that allows its user to trace any and all kinds of magic sources in real time and as fast as they can. This ability is something Griselda teached Raishin to master and it basically serves as an immediate magic tracer that allows Raishin to even predict where an attack will hit or where an opponent is after they teleport or other shit like that.
It is also thanks to this technique that Raishin learns how to control the three setsugetsuka sisters at the same time. Having this Heavenly Eye allows him to track where the girls are and accurately distribute his kouyokujin strings however he feels right to each of them. It is also thanks to this technique that Raishin could later on outsmart Magnus' automaton Kamakiri (the one that can teleport freely) as Raishin could determine where she was going to move after "reading" her course using his heavenly eye.
He can also use it to have a really fast precognitive ability that tells him when a magician is going to use some kind of magic and/or how they are going to be using it (This helped him stop Magnus, using his kouyokujin strings before he could teleport Hotaru to attack him, because Raishin anticipated what he was going to do, if only just a few milliseconds before, to react to it.)
Setsugetsuka - Shouko's automaton, Yaya, Irori and Komurasaki. Raishin is already an skilled tactician and puppeteer thanks to his kouyokujin and wit, but all of this is only multiplied even more because he has the setsugetsuka sisters to aid him at all times.
After volume 12, Shouko officially gives Raishin the three sisters so that he can register them under his name for the evening party. The three of them are way too strong compared to any other normal automaton, and since Shouko had made the three sisters to
always support each other, their abilities are enhanced at least 10 times more when they fight together.
Irori - Irori has the highest power output of all the three sisters. She also has a lot of battle experience since she was Shouko's personal guard. Irori's magic circuit is called
Imokagami and it allows her to control the water in the air to create literally whatever she wants made of ice, as long as she has enough magic energy. Irori on her own is very capable of
freezing an entire city if she has access to some of Raishin's Kouyokujin strings. She proves this feat when Raishin fights his master Unjaku. Raishin ordered Irori to freeze the entire city and also forcefully drop the air's temperature to hinder Unjaku's monstrous reflexes. Irori can also freeze anyone instantly, and this ability is so strong that even when she used it entirely on her own (not receiving anyone's magic energy) she could still severely damage Shin's body, to the point were he had to injure himself to get out of the ice prison, and Shin is still up to volume 14, considered an automaton with one of the highest defensive powers in this universe.
Komurasaki - Komurasaki's magic circuit is called
Yaegasumi. The anime shows us it can make her and Raishin invisible as long as she is being supplied with magic energy, which makes someone doubt how much useful she could be for real combat. However, it is revealed on volume 5 that Raishin was only
not skilled enough to draw out Yaegasumi's full potential.
What Yaegasumi actually does, is alter the space where the magic is released and allow its user to manipulate illusions to an extremely detailed extent. This means, Raishin can use Komurasaki to create perfect illusions wherever he is fighting, because the magic targets the space itself, not the opponent's body.
Raishin first uses Komurasaki to her full potential when fighting Wiseman Raikkonen for the first time (volume 6), and even someone as skilled as him is still trapped inside komurasaki's perfect illusions, allowing Raishin to toy with different types of phantom attacks that made Raikkonen feel pain as if it was real, even if the actual attacks weren't. However, for the same purpose that Komurasaki lacks any actual combat abilities, the best Raishin can do with her on his own is just hide and mess with his opponent whoever he likes, although he'd still need to attack them directly if he wanted to injure them.
Yaya - Obviously, there's more to Yaya than just super strength. After volume 6, it is revealed Raishin was also not skilled enough to handle her magic circuit until that point, but after Griselda's training where he learns to handle his magic energy more efficiently, he unlocks Yaya's real ability, which is an aura-like effect that allows Yaya to share her strength with Raishin as long as he is with her. Basically, Raishin now fights with Yaya while she shares her power to do it.
Now, what happens when you combine the three sisters and give them to Raishin + kouyokujin + Heavenly Eye? Well, you get one of most broken characters up until now in terms of strength.
Because Shouko made the sisters to be always together, when the three setsugetsuka are all together, each of their abilities enhance everyone's power. Raishin uses Komurasaki to alter the space were they fight, camouflaging Yaya's direct attacks. Irori is so strong her power has a vast range of effect, so she supports Yaya from behind with her ice in many usages, meanwhile nor Yaya or her sisters or Raishin can be spotted by anyone as long as Yaegasumi is active. (Not because of invisibility, but because Raishin makes perfect illusions that make it seem like he is making Yaya attack from the right, when she is actually above, and other things like that). Basically, the three of them together make Raishin way too overpowered for anyone.
At the beginning of volume 10, Raishin gets one more chance to fight Magnus alone. Magnus once again, only uses 3 of his automaton squadron. By this point, Raishin wasn't able to use a complete kouyokujin yet, but still manages to turn the battle into a different direction from what it was during volume 7, as he overpowers Magnus' squadron and forces him to call out his fourth automaton to stop
only Yaya. This means, Raishin could challenge Magnus if he's only using half a kouyokujin and three automaton, and win.
It's true that Magnus wasn't using all his strength. However, Raishin was also
only using Yaya, and not a perfect kouyokujin like he can now. This severely implies he does have some kind of chance to fight Magnus the next time they crash, if he uses the three setsugetsuka and his complete kouyokujin. Magnus also warns his squadron that they have to be careful the next time they fight Raishin, as it was very likely that more than one of them ended up killed next time. (End of vol 10, after Magnus sees Raishin practically beat Wiseman Raikkonen on his own, using the setsugetsuka).
For all of this I can safely say Raishin is way above a Rose level right now, as of volume 14.
Probably, on a one on one fight, he would still lose due to lack of experience and magic energy capacity, but given a proper plan (which Raishin excels at), he's even able to fight two Roses at the same time and still overpower them, using the Setsugetsuka.
Tenzen Akabane(Magnus) - However, the crown is still for Magnus. As of volume 14, I only know of the abilities of 4 of his 6 automatons, and each of them are really way too overpowered on their own. Also, Tenzen is considered to be the genius among genius
of all of the Akabane clan history, which is a lot to say. Magnus is the very crystallization of Akabane's strength, as he knows all of its secrets. Magnus is also shown to know a lot about what a Machine Doll can actually imply.
I will say Raishin could probably fight Magnus right now, but because he is such a mysterious man even after 14 volumes, I can't even say for sure if he has any chance to win, even with everything he has right now.
Machine Doll - I won't consider this as an actual power-level, but I will mention it is always constantly repeated that a machine doll on its own is part of God's domain, and that in itself means, the ultimate existence in this universe.
There's this monster inside the Fool's Sanctuary that is located underground, in the Academy. Grey Rose released him at the end of volume 13, and called him "Androgenous". Rutherford calls him "Gyunes". He is basically the academy's experiments that are leading to a machine doll. When this monster was released, it was described to have an unbelievable amount of magic energy and magical output, so much that not even a full kouyokujin from Raishin could do anything to it. Raishin also used a full kouyokujin against Grey Rose, who had absorbed only a portion of its power, and it was still pretty much useless.
If this defective "machine doll experiment" is already this monstrous in terms of strength, I can safely say that a real machine doll will be the ultimate existence in terms on power and everything else in this series.
And that's also it for the actual limit in terms of magic. I have detailed pretty much everything already, but there's some things left:
Charl's perfect luster canon aided by the light and mirror fairies (After Charl gets un-nerfed by the end of volume 9) is at least city buster level in terms if power.
Loki can handle several different types of magic circuit inside Jibril at a time, using his highly elevated levels of telekinesis.
But what is the limit actually? Well, it is stated that the "Eve's heart" origin was the "Stone of nil" which is a stone that can be considered the very first eve's heart, that contains
life on it. Automaton like Yaya and the rest are given life through these eve hearts that evolved from copying this Stone of Nil (because an eve heart can't be reproduced on its own) and it is severely implied that this same stone with life on it was given to the humans by
Jesus. Yes, Jesus, the son of God.
So...you could say there's no actual limit for what a machine doll could do, if it already involves something as big as God outside the big picture.
However, a machine doll is something I haven't seen yet. I will probably get a better understanding of it when I read volume 15. For now, I will say the strongest magic I have seen is
Theoreim. It's really ridiculous how this magic is able to overwrite reality itself and make past events happen again, and things like that. However, Theoreim was never actually shown to its full potential, so there's that.
I think that, after all I have written about the roses and these powerlevels, you can estimate how much big the limit is inside this series by now.
