Actually F91 and Victory are set so far apart from the others (and each other, really) that they can be viewed independently.

Theoretically it can. Under the assumption that the system was unlocked (which 0 Gundam never had save for the end of S2) , it may be able to.

There are two possible problems though. First of all is the particle volume and pressure rate. Trans Am handles these at high levels so it's possible the frame may not be able to handle it and since TA has never been done on a 1st Generation machine, it's hard to tell the results especially when the 0 Gundam is already Inefficient in it's particle handling . But case in point is the 00 Gundam in which case ithe TA works but after awhile the whole machine fails due to particl ovelowr of the frame not being able to handle the large output of it's powerplant. It's just a bit of unknown for the 0 Gundam being an archaic machine in which case none of the same generation has been tested.

The other problem from a different angle is the lack of Condensers. The HG 0 Gundam manual mentions that the beam gun takes it's particles directly from the GN Drive, which suggests that the machines have no intermediatery body Condensers and since the TA of single Drive suits rely more on Condenser storage than pure increase in poweplant output for the paricles in TA, there's a chance it may not be able to TA very effectively. Both scenarios present potential hinderenv to 0 Gundam TA although we dot know for sure since we have no hard data on any scenarios involving an 0 Gundam TA

So yeah, it can theoretically do it but there may be potential problems or hinderences. We just don't know whether these potential hinderences may prevent it without any real data. If only we can take 0 Gundam and try it out for ourselves >__>

To be honest, I don't think the 0 Gundam's frame can withstand Trans-Am. The whole thing was a barely working prototype.

Actually most of the particles would probably just be emitted by the GN Drive.

That's even worse. Look at how many GNP that thing was expelling to keep itself under safe control.

If Trans-Am came in, it'd probably overload and blow the hell up.

I thought that was an intentional design feature that was rejected for being too inefficient?

Nope, the 0 Gundam's GN Drive was giving out so much particles because it was too much for the frame.

It's a feature rejected/not to be used for succeeding generations of Gundam Mobile Suit.

It's essentially a pretty inefficient drive chassis system to begin with. Bu my personaly worry for it is TA is not only it's Drive Chassis bit the archaic mechanics of the suit in general and whether it could handle all the powerful state of TA. The 2nd and 3rd Gemeration just happened to be strong enough, even though they weren't predesigned with TA in mind.

Being the purest Gundam prototype, it may not be able to handle it but I emphasize on the word "may", so it still possibly can just that we are not so sure without any actual data.

Colony Drop

Some events in several Gundam series included massive objects being dropped onto Earth. How long did those objects took before they reached Earth?

Colony from One Year War = ?
Colony from Stardust Memory = ?
Axis from Char's Counter Attack = ?
Junius 7 from Seed Destiny = ?

Feel free to add to if I missed something.

I have a similar question. How long did the events of Char's Counterattack and F91 last?

Char's Counterattack gave the feel of about a month. Not sure about F91.

This is my request for a topic.

Lets get cracken! Before I start with my question, I have tried to google this, and used several different names(variations) to try and find even a ball park guess.
In UC0079, during the One Year War, how many people died ? Both sides, preferably, though if there are any numbers to be had at all I would be happy to know.

In Gundam Wing, Treize cites 99,822 people have died for him (Just Him!), which, for fighting a war with as much conflict and violence in it 99k is not that much compared to something like the Somme Offensive(and as countries grow shouldn't militaries only get larger?)

I know gundam wing is a completely different universe, but is there anything citied for the numbers of the One Year War?

With how poorly that movie was spaced, I'd be surprised if that information is even discernible.

What made it poorly spaced? I don't follow...

F91 was supposed to be a series. Sunrise said no, make it a movie. So they had to squash the material of a series down to fit a movie.

I know that part, but the movie still feels nicely paced.

Like Dragon said, not being made into a series really hurt the movie. The premise was great but little things like Annamarie jumping ship in a matter of scenes caused me not to enjoy F91.

I have a question regarding the "Beltorchika´s Children" Novel:

Nu Gundam and Sazabi are replaced with Hi-Nu and Nightingale, that much I know. But what´s with the Grunts and Quess and Gyunei? Are they still piloting Geara Doga´s / Jagd Doga´s? Or are they replaced with different MS?

Last edited by StrikeFreedomV2; 2011-01-20 at 23:47. Reason: Geara Doga´s, not Zulu´s.
